Many of our patients are in, or heading towards their golden years 💛

We absolutely love seeing our older patients and we especially like giving them some extra special treatment 🐾

☁ We always provide thick, comfy bedding for them to rest on during the ultrasound examination

💚 We will never force them into any position that they are not comfortable in

🩺 We will promptly provide analgesia if there are any signs of discomfort

💤 We allow breaks during the scan if needed

🌟 We always use calming Pet Remedy spray & play relaxing music

❓What do we need to provide for you ❓
We just need a dark room with a table, an oxygen supply, appropriate circuit and some soft bedding 😴

❓Do you bring your own equipment ❓
Yes, we have a high quality, advanced, portable ultrasound machine that we bring with us to each visit 👌

❓Can fine needle aspirate samples/biopsies be taken on the day ❓
Yes❗

❓Will we need to provide a nurse ❓
No, our registered veterinary nurse Becky assists Natasha with the ultrasounds and anaesthesia 🩺

❓Can the owner be present❓
We find it can be too distracting for the patient to have their owner present and as we are often taking samples, and dealing with various drugs, it is best not to have owners present 💉

❓Do you discharge the patient❓
We believe that continuity is really important and often clients are happier speaking to staff members they are familiar with. We will always do a thorough handover before we leave 🐾 💙

❓Do you bring your own drugs ❓
We don’t bring our own drugs. This way the fees for sedation/anaesthesia stay within the practice 💉
