One of my clients asked me if I fancied back stepping for her but i had never done it before so was a little nervous and out of my comfort zone! But we are a few weeks in and a few shows down placing in mostly all. I am very much enjoying it! Scurry driving it is then! Thankyou to my amazing client for giving me the opportunity to compete with you when I had little to no experience in this discipline. On to the next☀️🐎

Due to showing season and trying to get out as much as I can, I am no longer available on Sundays! My hours and days are strictly Monday-Friday 7-6.

Very proud of Flora and Jodie today! Since arriving, Flora as been a little stubborn to standing still while mounting and dismounting etc. she’s finally starting to realise that standing actually isn’t that bad! After todays ride Jodie rode Flora from the school around the yard and then into the barn which if you know Flora that was a massive step! She has really settled in now and everything doesn’t seem as scary as before. Progress✅

She knows when I’m not paying attention🤣 She’s been amazing during these cold nights! With only being broken in the summer and not have constant work this winter she has come on so far and gives her all, every time! Not only does Blue take everything new in her stride, she looks after whoever is on board. She has a one of a kind temperament that makes her such a pleasure to be around and I am so so very lucky to have her in my life! This past year Blue went to her first show since a foal and we took home so many memories (maybe a cheeky championship trophy too!😉) and I think it started the showing bug! Our last adventure for this year was equifest. For some horses equifest can be the scariest place in the world! With horses and people everywhere shouting, cheering, dogs barking etc but Blue didn’t have a care in the world! I was 100% more nervous than she was. We took some great results and feedback and our only goal was to get some experience! Which is exactly what we did and to say next year, 2023 is going to be one to remember! 🥂 Just thought I’d share a little appreciation post for the best girl who got me falling back into love with horses again after a few years away. 💙
