It’s certainly a Harsh an very wet winter this one 🥴 plus with the husband who is normally maintanice man/top harrower 🤦🏻‍♀️ with two broken arms so out of action a newborn and a nearly two year old etc, it’s been even harder than most…yet we are still looking 👌🏻 at DD after some weekend maintenance jobs completed! Now Sunshine dance anyone for the fields ??!

A chilly 🥶 but thankfully a dry one today! What a difference a day makes after yesterday having a horrible blizzard most of the day and a horrible rainy one the day before! Horses are happy to be back out again today after their duvet day yesterday ❄️💙❄️ Have a super Saturday whatever your plans And keep wrapped up…don’t let the sun fool you 😂

Snow day for the gang at DD! ❄️ Not going to lie they all did like their (un expected) half day turn out today to come into their warm dry stables with their big nets and beds 😂 I mean their not divas…you are….🤣 I think there all hoping for a duvet day tomorrow! Where see…😅 hope everyone is keeping wrapped up warm & safe in this very much cold snap as what was “pretend spring” last week 🥶

It’s a super chilly one out there today! Stay safe if your heading out! 🥶 All horses are currently enjoying big hay nets and a duvet day after their leg stretch this morning for a hour or so but they were also super happy to go back into there stables and out of the bitter frost forsure ❄️ have a lovely Sunday all 🤗 and if you have to venture out there like us then defo wrap up….brrrhhhh 🥶👀

The Wonderful Emma 🤍

A new photograph is released today of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s fell pony, Emma.

Emma paid tribute to Her Majesty during the Ceremonial Procession in Windsor on Monday 19th September, ahead of the Committal Service at St George’s Chapel.

For the past fifteen years, Queen Elizabeth regularly rode Emma for light exercise in the grounds around Windsor Castle, during Her Majesty’s private time.

Emma will continue to be much-loved and cared for at the Royal Mews, Windsor, and regularly exercised by its small, dedicated team.
