As of 1st August new prices will come into effect, it’s been 6 years since I’ve put prices up and I just can’t absorb the current inflation in fuel, gas and stock.

New prices are

£78 Full set shoes
£88 full set shoes with road studs
£50 front shoes and hinds trimmed
£30 full barefoot trim

Man not wrong ❤️

I feel so lucky to be in a job that I love.
I actually get excited about going to work.
It’s a tough job that is hard on your body. You get cold and wet. You get thrown around by naughty horses. You get challenging feet to deal with. Sometimes you get all that all at once!! Nightmare 😆
However, when I look at the good points they far out way these moments of hell.
My job gives me independence, I can socialise, work outside, work with animals who on the whole are brilliant to be around. My job keeps me fit, interested and every day I face a different challenge.
The farrier craft hasn’t changed much over millennia. It hasn’t been infected fancy technology designed to make a third party millions of pounds.
If a farrier time travelled one thousand years forward from the past he would still be able to trade as a farrier with little change.
There aren’t many jobs you can say that about.
This job will never directly make me a millionaire.
But what it does do is make me happy.
I can put food on my table and I can afford a hobby.
My wish is that I stay fit and able to continue in my craft for years to come.

Shoes will limit the health of your horses hoof! If you can go barefoot, you’ll be maximising the efficiency of the circulation of the blood supply, creating healthy new growth of horn!!
