Lovely surprise today, my little buddy Vinnie got me a card and present for Mother’s Day 🥹 (more than my own dog did 😂) Hope all the dog mums, cat mums, and mums to all feathered/scaly/furry and everything in between had a wonderful day yesterday! Being a pet parent is the best, and luckily for me I get to love on everyone else’s babies too! 💛🐾

I volunteered at Second Chance for two years, and whilst they’re not a dog rescue, time and time again people dump dogs at their donation point, and even though they’re always stretched for funds, they always go above and beyond for these poor little souls! If anyone could help, whether it’s spare dog food, beds, blankets or a donation, I know they’re would be more than grateful!

We need your help ! On Sunday night two dogs were left in our donation shed to freeze all night . They are starved, in really poor condition and extremely traumatized. We have booked to take them to Anderson's vets this week to see what treatment they need . It looks like they have been living in a crate for ages as they are very hunched . Last night we then found a further 5 dogs dumped in the shed just left to also freeze overnight . We will assess these dogs today and try to find somewhere to house them as we are at breaking point now . We really need help to support the poor dogs . The food, vets bills and treatments will push us to our limits so anything you can spare we will be so grateful . Thank you yet again X

It’s National ’Love Your Pet Day’ ❤️ Seems a bit silly as that’s every day at our house haha, but nevertheless I hope you give your pets an extra kiss and a squeeze today! Ralphie and I had a lovely evening walk tonight, doing one of his favourite things, playing frisbee 🥰🐾

Happy Monday folks! Got to hang out with my buddy Vinnie last week 🥰🐾
I‘ve had a full on January so far, and lots of messages, and would just like to remind everyone that I do not offer home boarding!

Morning Folks, as Halloween draws closer I thought I’d take this opportunity to talk 🎃pumpkins🎃! I’m sure we’ve all been guilty of buying a pumpkin and perhaps not carving it, or just using it for decoration and then not really knowing what to do with it, and then a month later, finally putting it in the bin! 😬
If you love animals like me, here’s a few things you can do with your pumpkins to help our four legged friends!

1 - Donating your pumpkins to a local animal rescue! Lots of animals can eat them, and as a previous volunteer Second Chance Animal Rescue Crockenhill I can confirm that the animals love them! Including their meerkats would you believe!
Just make sure they aren’t painted, you’ll need to remove your tea lights and any wax, and please no mouldy pumpkins!

2 - Leave your pumpkin out in your garden for your local wildlife! Squirrels, Birds, Hedgehogs, and even Foxes and Badgers will enjoy this tasty treat!

3 - Take your pumpkin to your local woods, heath or park, for the wildlife there! The wonderful thing about this, is whatever doesn’t get eaten will decompose naturally with the help of insects or mushrooms and further contribute to nature! (Perhaps even a few seeds might germinate) 🎃

Happy Monday folks! This coming Saturday I will be on holiday for a week (for the first time in forever), so any inquires from the 1st-8th of October may not be responded to as quickly, as I will be enjoying the beach with my dog!
That being said, I would like to remind everyone that you can find a list of my services on my page under the ‘About’ section! I have had a lot of enquiries about home boarding, this is not something I am able to accommodate, but would like to encourage people looking for home boarders to make sure that they are licensed!
