We also have space for our log cabin over the summer. Based in NN11, this is a lovely and friendly area. You can book the cabin only or bring your horse or dog for a stay (additional charge). This is a great spot if you're looking for a night away with your horse or require a layover after visiting Onley Grounds, Aston Le Walls, Dallas Burston, etc.

Livery Spaces!
We have up to 4 spaces for full retirement or turn away livery. We have lots of stables available for the horrible weather if required. There is 18 acres with 4 friendly horses and 3 shetlands at the moment so ample grazing with post and rail fields sub-divided with electric fencing. Twice daily checks, feeds, feet, rugs etc as required. Exercise if needed. Hay in winter as required and small paddocks for any horse which require restricted or track grazing in the summer. We also have an indoor and an outdoor school with jumps, a walker, and a roundpen. Pop us a message if you are interested, Thankyou☺️x

Apprenticeship Opportunity

We are seeking a new apprentice to join our team due to the expansion of the business. The post will involve being outside caring for animals and their environment and inside assisting in the Hydrotherapy Centre. This will suit a school leaver and give good preparation for a career in animal care or working with horses.

You will be:
- Hard working, tidy and keen to achieve high standards in animal/ horse care.
- Understand that animal care involves a lot of cleaning and is not fussing animals all day.
- Happy to be outside working in all weathers and understand that animal care is 365 days per year.
- Happy to work at weekends and flexible to work some evenings.
- Achieved English at Level 4 or above.
- Able to use a computer for basic admin tasks.
- Good at following instructions and able to be self-motivated.
- A team player with good communication and able to talk to clients.
- Confident with dogs, weighing, showering, drying.
- Happy with cleaning tasks in the hydrotherapy area.
- Have transport arrangements to reach Woodford Halse including on Sundays when no buses run.

The job will be 4 days a week - 30 hours and you will be able to take an apprenticeship course in Animal Care or Horse Groom at Level 2 or 3.

Experience with dogs and horses an advantage but full training will be given.

The Highway Code has changed from today (29.01.22)

When driving, you should now pass horse riders and horse-drawn vehicles at speeds under 10 mph and allow at least 2 metres of space. Check the changes, let’s keep each other safe.
