I have had a lovely staycation for Dawlish Celebrates Carnival. We did have an emergency dog to stay "Wills", due to unforseen circumstances. He has had a great week, being pampered and he was was over the moon to be reunited with his hoomans this morning ❤🐾🐾🐕

Our talk on consent based grooming was great. So happy The Dog Nose Liz Cox came along, she is a wealth of knowlegde on all things dog related and kept everyone entertained. It was great to help and answer questions for the dog owners that attended, and a newly qualified Dawlish dog groomer came along. Welcome Lindsey. Very positive session. Thank you so much Liz and to see some of my friendly furry faces and their hoomans ❤🐾🐾🐕🙏 Big shout out to Lilly from Happy Doggos of Dawlish for being our model and Nigel

My name is Lady Hetty, I am quite eccentric and I love living at my country manor, where I have many servants, to provide to my every whim. Currently I am staying at my seaside retreat, a little cottage by the sea, I needed some sea air. My maid Brophy, has been wonderful, providing me with all my medication and lots of food (which I adore), I have had some country strolls with my acquaintances Poppy, Fudge and Belle, I like their company, even though they haven't had my breeding, thats all for now, Brophy has my caviar and champers ready. It was lovely to go to Paris, wherever I go I love to look at the dogs around, these two are Belgium Shepards, working Police National explosive scent dogs, it was lovely their handlers let me say hello and take their photos, dogs never fail to amaze me at how brilliant they are

It is our 30th wedding anniversary on the 29th July 2024, so we are having a few days off to celebrate and will be open again on Wednesday 31st July 2024.

It is heart breaking when your fur baby dies, in Chunks case his Dogdad passed away, it was an honour to offer to look after and accompany Chunk to his Dogdads service. Chunk is being looked after by close family friends and it was lovely to recieve these beautiful flowers from them. 🙏🐾🐾🐕😪

First morning back from holidays, with these beauties on daycare 🙂

This is a seriously matted cockapoo, it took three and a half hours to groom him, that included a walk in the park for him to calm him. Please if you are considering getting any poodle cross, take into consideration the time it takes to maintain their coat and the cost of taking them to the groomers every 8 weeks. This little boy was fine after his groom x

2020 The Dog Post

At the start of 2020 Dog Designs of Dawlish are pleased to announce that our regular day care dogs are back at school and it is so lovely to see them after the holidays. We have had the cottage painted inside while our guests were away, so we are all fresh to receive our furry friends.

It has also been a very sad start to the New Year, one of my very loyal customers who bought her little dog Charlie to me for her groom has lost her fight to cancer, such a lovely lady who will be really missed. Also Charlie the bull dog who was a real character has died at the age of 10 years he had a heart condition, love to Moya. ( ahh two Charlies)

The holiday season will soon be upon us and we have received a lot of bookings for the summer for home from home boarding. Your dog can have a pamper session while they are staying. We welcome new enquires for home from home boarding.

Now that spring is well on the way don’t forget to get your dog booked in for a lovely spring groom, we have lovely shampoos and coat conditioning sprays, so your dog will feel gorgeous after a lovely spa treatment, we soak paws in warm water and shampoo and make sure their pads and in between are free from sand, pebbles, matts and seeds. In our services department you will find costs and our pick up and delivery service.
