I am so sad to say that I have lost 3 of my beautiful ratties in the last month,first was my gorgeous Bertie boy he died very peacefully in my arms having cuddles due to old age he was 2 1/2 years old and then my beautiful sweet little Winnie started acting strange and we took her to the vets who diagnosed a pituitary tumour so we had to make the sad choice of putting her to sleep she would be 2 years old on the 1st June and then yesterday I woke up to my curly boy Teddy in his forever sleep he was 32 months old RIP Bertie,Winnie and Teddy 🐀🌈❤️

Just to let everyone know that I have changed the name of my rattery as I keep getting mistaken for another Ruby’s rattery so I am now Ruby’s place Rattery which still contains the name of my very first rat she was the reason I have loved rats for 36 years and the reason for me naming the rattery after my beloved Ruby 1986-1989

Meet Raven born on the 6th April 2022 my beautiful self black dumbo ,she is mum to my most recent litter of kittens and Bertie’s granddaughter she has the most adorable cheeky temperament.If the cage door is open she is always the first one out .she loves to sit on my shoulder and also likes to explore outside of her cage
