🐰✨ Rabbits: More Than Just a Cute Face ✨🐰
Did you know that what you feed your bunny is just as important as all the snuggles? 🥕💚 Rabbits need a balanced diet to stay healthy and happy – and it's not just about those easy little pellets!
🐾 Here's what your bunny's diet should look like:
- Unlimited fresh hay is essential – it's the foundation of your bunny's diet! Hay helps with digestion and keeps their teeth healthy.
- Leafy greens are a must for variety! Some bunny-approved veggies include:
🥬 Romaine lettuce
🌱 Cilantro
🌿 Parsley
🥦 Kale
🌾 Dandelion greens
🥒 Cucumber (in moderation. Very watery so too much can cause diarrhea)
🥬 Mustard greens
❗ What to avoid:
- 🥕 Carrots – While cute, they’re high in sugar and should be fed in moderation.
- 🚫 Iceberg lettuce – It has very little nutritional value and can cause upset tummies.
- 🚫 Potatoes, onions, and garlic – These can be toxic to rabbits, so keep them far away!
Remember, pellets should be just a supplement – fresh hay and greens should make up most of their diet. A healthy bunny is a happy bunny! 🐇💚

🐾💡 Muzzle Training: A Positive Step for Every Dog 💡🐾
Let’s talk about muzzles! 🐶 While they’re often misunderstood, muzzles can be an incredibly valuable tool when used correctly—and they’re nothing to be ashamed of. Here’s why:
🐕 Why Do Dogs Wear Muzzles?
To keep everyone safe during vet visits or grooming, especially if a dog is feeling anxious.
To prevent scavenging on walks, which can be dangerous.
As a precaution in situations that might be overwhelming for a dog.
For training and socialization with new environments or triggers.
🐾 Benefits of Muzzle Training
A well-fitted muzzle gives you peace of mind while allowing your dog to still pant, drink, and enjoy their walk.
It prevents accidents or reactive behavior without limiting your dog’s ability to explore the world.
It’s an excellent way to help dogs build confidence in tricky situations.
🌟 Making Muzzles a Positive Experience
Muzzles should never be a punishment. With proper training, they can become just another part of your dog’s routine! Here are a few tips:
1️⃣ Start slowly: Let your dog sniff and investigate the muzzle at their own pace.
2️⃣ Use treats and praise: Reward your dog every step of the way to build positive associations.
3️⃣ Practice at home: Gradually increase the time they wear the muzzle in a calm and safe environment.
Muzzles are a sign of responsible pet ownership—not a reflection of a “bad dog.” They’re a tool that ensures safety and helps your dog live their best life!

🐾 Welcoming a New Puppy? Here’s How to Set Up for Success!🐾
Bringing a new puppy home is such an exciting time, but it’s important to make sure your space is ready for their curious paws! Here are some tips to help you create a safe, cozy environment and set your pup up for a happy start:
🏠 Puppy-Proof Your Home:
- Remove any small objects, cords, or plants that could be dangerous if chewed or swallowed.
- Use baby gates to block off areas you don’t want your puppy exploring just yet.
- Secure cabinets with cleaning products or medications.
🛍️ Your Puppy Essentials Shopping List:
- Crate: A safe space for rest and training.
- Puppy Pen: Great for keeping them safe in one area while you’re busy.
- Pee Pads: Essential for potty training.
- Food & Water Bowls: Non-slip, easy-to-clean options are best.
- Toys: Chew toys, plushies, and puzzle toys will keep your puppy entertained.
- Collar, Leash & ID Tag: Start your pup off right with safe, comfortable gear.
- Quality Puppy Food: Consult your vet for the best diet for your new furry friend. Your puppies breeder should have a good recommendation for them.
🧹 Bonus Tip: Puppies are like toddlers—they get into everything! Keep an eye on them and always clean up hazards.
Having a new puppy can be overwhelming, but don’t worry—you’ve got this! If you ever need help with walks, playtime, or sitting services while you’re at work or away, I’d love to support you and your new best friend. 🐶

🌟 The Magic of Line Brushing: A Must-Know Grooming Method! 🌟
If you’re a dog owner, especially of a long-haired or double-coated breed, you’ve likely faced the battle against tangles and mats. Enter the line brushing method—a game-changer for keeping your dog’s coat healthy, tangle-free, and stunning!
🐕 What is Line Brushing?
Line brushing involves methodically brushing your dog’s coat in sections, starting from the skin and working your way outward. It ensures you reach every layer of their coat, not just the surface, which is key for dogs with thick or long fur.
✨ Why is Line Brushing Brilliant?
Prevents mats and tangles that can lead to discomfort or skin issues.
Promotes healthy skin by removing dead hair and distributing natural oils.
Keeps coats looking their best—soft, shiny, and fluff-free!
🐾 Breeds That Benefit Most:
Rough Collies (like my own pup 🐾)
Golden Retrievers
Shetland Sheepdogs
Newfoundlands
Poodles and Doodles
Any double-coated or long-haired breed!
🔧 How to Line Brush:
1️⃣ Start with your dog lying down or standing comfortably.
2️⃣ Use a slicker brush and a comb.
3️⃣ Part the fur into sections, exposing the skin.
4️⃣ Brush one section at a time, starting near the skin and working outward.
5️⃣ Check for mats and tangles as you go, and work them out gently.
💡 Pro Tip: Regular line brushing can save you time and money by reducing trips to the groomer and preventing painful mat removal.

There is a MASSIVE stigma around muzzled dogs.. When people see a muzzled dog they stereotypically think it's aggressive. This isn't always the case and a muzzled dog does not equal a bad dog. A dog can be wearing a muzzle for multiple reasons, including:
▪️The dog eats stuff during walks and is muzzled to prevent it consuming things that could be harmful. This is very common and in some cases, the muzzle can be a life saver.
▪️For safety when a dog is frightened, ill or injured. Fear, pain and illness can affect the way a dog feels and behaves, much like ourselves. When you're hurting and in pain, you can act in a way you normally wouldn't. A dog may be wearing a muzzle so that a vet can provide care quickly and safely.
▪️To keep dogs, and those around them safe. A muzzle can be essential for dogs that are reactive or aggressive in certain situations. It's for YOUR safety, as well as their own.
▪️Prey drive! Some dogs, especially specific breeds, have incredibly high prey drive. A muzzle may be used on dogs who have learnt to chase and catch, or are prone to wanting to.
▪️If they are required to by law.
It is so important to give muzzled dogs space. If you see a muzzled dog, please put your own dog on a lead out of courtesy. If the owner moves out of your way, keep walking with your dog close to you and give them adequate space. If the owner is engaging with the dog e.g sit focus, please ignore and do not stop or try to chat. They are training. If the owner is relaxed and happy to talk, then ask if they're okay to chat if you'd like to.
Breaking the stigma around muzzles is important. I am personally training my own dog to a muzzle because I'll never know when it may be needed. I also want to show the public that not all muzzled dogs fit a type and friendly ones wear them too!
If you do wish to muzzle train your dog, please get an ap
