So its been a while since I have posted anything. But I have not been idle.
The rate of progress with LEDs is quite amazing. So much so that we have introduced a New High Output Van Lighting Kit.
With 1800 lumens (thats more than a 100w light bulb) for just 1amps worth of power. (A pair of standard 5w festoon bulbs use more than 0.8amp for about 72 lumens), its no wonder so many people are changing over to LEDs.
Add to that quality and reliability you would expect from a world class manufacturer like Samsung and you probably cant go wrong.

If like us you have taken your caravan or camper away this half term holiday, I hope you had a great time.
We have a favorite camp site where the only amenities are a tap and a hole in the ground.
So we are very careful about the amount of power we use, with much of it being used on lighting. This year all of the fluorescent tubes have come out and LEDs have gone in. Now obviously I am an LED convert and could go on about the power savings and the massive life expectancy of LEDs but the thing we really noticed was how much better the quality of light was. Not the dull yellow we were used to but a clean and crisp pure white that made it easier to see.
When I first replaced the florescent tubes I was so pleased with the improvement I put together a conversion kit, which will fit into most existing caravan lights. You can find them in our eBay store by clicking the yellow eBay button.

So never one to miss an opportunity here is a new venture.

What has that got to do with LED Lights? Not much really, but you know that saying about eggs and baskets...
Anyway at the moment just one size in Mild Steel and one size in Stainless Steel available from stock but we should have other sizes soon.

Following several requests from customers, we are now rolling out Festoon Adapters in out Van Kits. They make fitting much easier as you are able to simply remove one of your existing internal light bulbs and replace it with the adapter. Your LED Lights will then come on and go off in the same way as the standard courtesy light would.
