Thank you Parklands Vet - Drumahoe!!
Our bald breed Elsie took an allergic reaction today out on a walk in the woods…. Her reaction was severe enough that I thought her airways could be compromised if we didn’t get immediate help.
A quick drive got us to Parklands who accepted the walk in emergency, jumped into action and started medication right away. Their staff were calm, professional and efficient and once the panic was over everyone was so friendly. Was a great visit even though the circumstances were unfortunate.
Highly recommend for dog parents looking for skilful vets services with clear communication and great aftercare.
Here’s Elsie looking a bit swollen - but A LOT better than she did before the medication … She is now home safe with mum ready for a sleep after a rough day 🥹

(And this is why all our customers are required to provide detailed medical history and waivers for us to seek vet treatment in their absence when required 🤓)
