Look how handsome he is! He’s getting on so great in his new home 🏡 and it sounds like he has become a yard favourite ❤️ I’m so happy he found his perfect human!

A lovely ride and lead hack for Zebedee & Pancake today. This was Pancakes first hack since joining us, he was impeccably behaved and Zebedees first time leading another horse out, you’d have thought he done it a million times before! So proud of both boys 🥰

15hh, Connemara x tb - Mare - 5yrs old.
Connie is now ready to find her new human to have lots of adventures with! She is an absolute pleasure to have on the yard & someone is going to be very lucky to own her!

Connie came to me a few months ago on schooling livery to get some more miles on the clock and have some new experiences.
She has been so fun to work! Her schooling is coming along beautifully with 3 nice paces. She’s bold and brave into a fence & enjoys her jumping!
We’ve been out to arena hire & xc schooling where she was excited to be out and about, she worked well and made so much progress in each session.
She hacks alone and in company (prefers to be in front but will go behind), sensible in open spaces. Has seen traffic/dogs/bike etc.
Sometimes gets a little joggy but just from excitement. Fantastic eventer prospect!

Connie would love a home that is going to continue showing her the world. She enjoys having a job and has so much potential! She’s very cuddly, loves a fuss and a good scratch. Has been turned out on her own (with neighbours either side of the fence) and with another mare here and is happy with both.

Although she is an absolute dream, Connie is not a novice ride due to her age, showing a bit of sass occasionally & popping a small sassy buck in here and there (never unseating).

Up to date with everything. Good for farrier/dentist/vet etc. Will only go to the best of homes and I would be very happy for her new owner to keep her on livery with me.

Want a Livery Yard that lets your horse be a horse?
When we say we provide winter turnout we mean proper winter turnout.
We don’t mean popped in a sand pen for a few hours or out on the walker for an hour each end of the day, we mean our horses go out into their grass filled paddocks, rain or shine, they are allowed to get muddy, run around with their friends & when the grass runs out it gets replaced with hay.
Horses are not meant to stand in a stable for hours on end. At Best Haaf Stables we let horses be horses all year round and that’s one of the many reasons we have happy, calm horses.

Today I had the go ahead to start bringing Bentley back into work. I’ll be taking things very slowly but Safe to say he enjoyed his first in hand walk round the village! 🥰 (Much more enjoyable than rehab by walker!)

Today was Connie’s first venture out, we went to a local arena hire to see what she’d think of a new environment and different jumps and safe too say she very much enjoyed herself and so did I, she’s so much fun! And she travelled beautifully!
