Fresh pear twigs now in the shop - the perfect enrichment for your bunnies - great for their teeth, brains (all that gnawing is what they are meant to spend most of their day doing!) and good fibre for the gut. These really are the all-round snack item.

❄ Anyone else feeling the cold? ❄⁠

If we are, our rabbits certainly will. have some handy tips for how to keep rabbits housed outside warm this winter:⁠
⁠
❤ Provide lots of hay at all times⁠
❤ Use snuggle pads to keep your rabbits warm during freezing weather⁠
❤ Cover drinking bottles with bubble wrap to keep them from freezing over and check water bowls frequently⁠
❤ Cover housing with a fitted cover or blankets and tarpaulin to keep the frost and the wind out⁠
❤ Provide lots of hiding places in their outside space, like bunny boxes and carriers, and fill them with hay⁠
❤ Ideally rabbits should have constant access to their sleeping area and exercise area so they can explore when they like⁠
❤ Some rabbits love the snow! Just make sure they have lots of dry areas to retreat to when they want⁠

Forage boxes are back but with a festive twist. Using the same wonderful hay that make up our Munchkin bales these boxes are full of tasty bits for your bunnies to discover whilst rummaging around. Hiding in the hay are cranberries, parsnip and carrot (very festive!) as well as chicory root fennel and dill. We've added some flowers and vine leaves then added three strawberry star treats which, by the way, taste awesome because we had to have a nibble!

An incredible total of £5059.23 has been donated so far to Windwhistle Warren Rabbit Rescue, Gloucestershire from the proceeds of sale of her book. There’s another £180 ready to send, let’s see if we can boost that up a bit in time for Christmas for the rescue bunnies!

I use 4wire for my rabbit aviaries. They are tall whi h makes it easy to access and clean out. You can put hutches in them as shelters or join onto sheds. They have fox proof option too.

Great enrichment for your bunnies. Gnaw-able grass balls are back in the shop after a long absence. Fun for bunnies and piggies they are made from grass rope woven into an 8cm ball.

We will be launching our Twig & Nibble Christmas on **Friday 7th October** at 10pm - All items will be available for pre-order. Star of the show is our Limited Edition Advent Calendar - 24 mini pots of forage, treats and goodies all balanced so you won't be over-feeding your bunnies - yes, we've thought of everything! There will be two editions - one is a cardboard box as below, the other is an option to upgrade to our custom designed poplar ply star tray which can be used after the event for munchkin bales, a cosy bed or even your own human bits and pieces. No plastic, everything is recyclable. There will also be personalised stockings and a stocking filler pack for those of you who bought one last year. Plus a few other festive bits and pieces ... save the date!
