I am sharing Gus and Luca again just because their lovely mum Deb has sent me a picture (swipe) of her washing the boys harnesses so they look their best selves when they go on their hollibobs soon! ☀️

Deb knew how much seeing the OCDness of them all being hung up in actual design order, would make me laugh! It literally looks like they are mirror imaged 🤣 but the boys have to be matchy matchy! To top it off, they have another one of the designs too 🤣🤣

I think you'll agree that these boys are beautiful with and without their harnesses on but are going to look extra dapper with their fresh and clean harnesses on when they go on their holiday soon!! 😍☀️

Our harnesses/collars/leads are all washing machine safe and come out looking brand new! So don't be afraid of your poochy getting muddy or if they are partial to jumping in water, they are easily washable and because of the material they are made from dry very quickly! Especially in this weather 🥵

Looking extremely handsome in his tie-dye collar and bow tie! I would give in to everything if he looked at me with them eyes! 😍

Cavaliers as a breed have such a special place in my heart. As a child, we had a cavalier and my mum & stepdad have another 2 cavaliers now. Their temperament, as a breed is just second to none, so gentle. However they have bundles of energy. Maisie Grace one of their Cavvies tries to remove my eyelashes every single time 🤣

When I received this yesterday from it made my heart swell 🫶🏼
How has it been 3 whole years since Hugo got his first set from us?! 😮
It was the first of many, and this handsome boy looks STUNNING in every single one of the sets he has 😍
Little did me and Nicola know, we would become such good friends, who now speak every single day without fail and finding out we have literally EVERYTHING in common! We call our self soul sisters now 👯‍♀️

The fact that my small home run business has made me so many friends is just mind blowing to me, I just can't cope with how happy you all make me! It will forever be my favourite part of the business, meeting you guys and seeing the amazing pictures of your beautiful kiddies in their funky paws gear! 😍
No matter how big or small my business is, you will all forever be my priority, you and your doggos 🫶🏼😍❤️

A throwback to when the panda design first arrived and my Maisie Moo was modelling like a pro for me 😍

I loved this set so much as it was one of the first ones that I designed myself. I can't believe that I have actually designed 5 of the current designs and a further 6 for our next launch! It is such an exciting time. I wish I could share everything I am up to behind the scenes but I want to keep it all a suprise so you can see fully finished products!

It's such an exciting time for me right now, I have never been happier than I am right now and cannot thank you all enough for being on this extremely crazy journey with me 🫶🏼😘

Their mum Deb, I met through doing Funky Paws and we have been in contact for a few years now, just like along with so many of you, we have grown to be friends 🥰🫶🏼 Along with the rest of you guys, Deb will always have a special place in my heart ❤️

I would not be as successful as I am right now if it wasn't for people like Deb and you guys. You all mean more to me than you could ever imagine. 🫶🏼❤️

Thank you all for continuing with me on this transitional journey of mine. It's going to take a couple of months before new drops of designs and other NEW products but it will be worth the wait!!! 🫶🏼

Funky paws will be coming back bigger, stronger and better than ever, and I can't wait to have you all by my side 🫶🏼

Luna looking dreamy... Literally, in her circus harness 😍 Her mum took her to enjoy the sunshine and it looks to me like she loved every minute of it. Her mum Carlie said that Luna never looks at the camera 🤣 but that's the best kind of model 🥰🥰
She is just gorgeous 😍😍 The best part about having a dog business is seeing all the pictures of the doggos in their newness, I'm just obsessed with dogs 🤣😍

Little update from me also, if you haven’t seen on my stories, I have made the decision to remain open with funky paws. When I announced the closure the amount of supportive messages I received absolutely blew me away!! I received hundreds!!! 🥹🥹🥹
The support you guys gave me, gave me the fire back in my belly for my business and therefore after much consideration I have decided to come back not only stronger but bigger too!
I can’t even begin to tell you all how much I appreciate each and every single one of you! You are AMAZING! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and I cannot wait to continue on this very exciting journey with you all alongside me 🥰

PART 2 - If you have been with us, ordering from the start, you will remember that I used to wrap each order in tissue paper with a bow and a handwritten note to each and every pooch, but when the orders came rolling in thick and fast, it became too time consuming for me, which then caused the personal touch to fade away. This, I never wanted to happen but it became impossible for me to do these personal touches but also get orders out timely. (I'm impatient with my deliveries that I order, so I know how important it is for people to get their orders quickly) 😂
It is extremely hard to explain to you all, in words, how much you have filled our hearts with love, support and just being amazing people, that love in our hearts for you all will never, ever, leave us. We will forever be grateful for the support and kindness you have all shown us during our journey with Funky Paws, but it will soon be time for us to close the doors to continue on our other paths that we have chosen.
Although it has been the hardest decision, I believe that right at this minute, its the right decision for us to make. My heart is genuinely hurting as I am writing this post and I cannot describe in words how thankful I am to each and every one of you. 🫶♥
Whilst we have stock left, there is not much of it, so if you have been mooching and looking, please do not wait any longer. We have discounted the products to the lowest that we can, once they are gone, they are gone forever. If you already have some of our products and love them and you want to stock up, then please do this now before they sell out for good‼️
I love you all more than you will ever know and I will never ever forget any of you. I will still follow all of yours and your pooches journies from the side lines, just because I LOVE watching what you all get up to. Animals, especially dogs, will always have my heart. You are ALL amazing and Ithank you from the bottom of my heart. ♥️🫶

PART 1 - I cannot believe I am actually writing this post right now. Sit tight as it could be a long one. 😔
As some of you may already know, if you are subscribed to our email marketing, on Monday we sent an email out announcing our decision to close our extremely loved small home run business. 😭😢
As some of you know, myself (Taylor) and Joe both still work full time in very busy and time consuming jobs, by choice because we love our careers, of course. So the bigger Funky Paws became the more time consuming it was for us to juggle all of our commitments. Work, business and play. It just became too much work and business and less play. (the under eye bags are real right now). It became time to address the elephant in the room for us and we had to make a decision on our longer term plans because it was becoming too much for us to do. Either I would have to leave my job, that I love, or we have to close Funky Paws, which I also love. Then I had to think about the future and what is going to be "safer" for me to continue my journey in, be that my career or continuing with Funky Paws. In the way the world is at the moment and probably for the longer term future, my safest and wisest decision was to continue in my career and close Funky Paws. It was the hardest and most heartbreaking decision I have ever had to make. 💔
We never in our wildest dreams could have imagined how big Funky Paws became for us, we always imagined it would be a side hustle because its something we love and we both have a great passion for all animals, especially dogs. 🐶🐾 The best thing was seeing all our amazing customers pictures in their newness. 🐶🐾
