4. If you could ride any famous horse from history or movies, who would it be and why? Raven from Free Rein that’s the only horse I can think of lol

5. What’s the most unique or funny thing you’ve learned about horses that surprised you? They can hear your heartbeat from 4 feet away

6. If you could name a horse, what would you call it, and what would its personality be like? Bubbles – very spicy!

Our maths Mondays session is now full until July 2025

We still have 3 spaces on the science Tuesdays session .

We have been super busy arranging this and we have been asked if we will be doing home ed sessions for primary school age .

We are pleased to say we will be from March. We have already put a few of you on the wait list . If anyone else would like to be added to the wait list please let us know ☺️

Our students have done a super job in their first term and were very proud of your dedication and hard work .

Part of their learning involves working together as a team relying on each other’s strengths to achieve a common goal. The lessons they are learning with the horses are listening, communicating, and respecting each other’s contributions . In return this is building a stronger, more cohesive team in the workplace.

Everyone’s input is valuable, and success comes from understanding how to work together harmoniously.

Our students task this month was to help us plan a Free fun day for the riding school that is going ahead on Monday. They have come up with amazing ideas with pony rides , The Grinch , Fancy dress and even managed to make a Santas Grotto today🎅🏼

Top Tip Tuesdays !

Our Students have been getting to know the "normal" for our horses. Daily health checks for our horses are an essential part of our routine for maintaining their well-being and identifying any potential issues early.
By routinely conducting these checks, We help ensure our horses stay healthy and any health concerns are addressed promptly with our Vet .equine.vets

Our students are learning about the Importance of Flatwork. Flatwork is an essential foundation for horses in various disciplines, emphasizing the importance of balance, flexibility, and communication between ourselves and our Horses .

These skills are crucial for developing a well-rounded horse capable of performing in more specialized activities like jumping, dressage, or eventing.

Flatwork training not only improves the physical condition of our horses but also establishes a strong connection and mutual understanding between horse and rider, making it a fundamental aspect of horsemanship.

By dedicating our time to flatwork, we as equestrians are ensuring our horses are healthier, more versatile, and better prepared for a variety of challenges.

Congratulations to our equine studies students for their outstanding achievements so far in their first Term .

Their dedication and hard work in mastering skills, understanding horse care, and developing a bond with their Pony partners is truly commendable. Whether it's excelling in dressage, show jumping, or simply gaining a deeper appreciation for the love of Horses , our students have shown remarkable perseverance and passion.
