If you're an owner and your pooch is showing signs of stress when wearing a muzzle in public and on walks, some words of encouragement from Ezra's owner, Kit, might help! 🥰🐾

They said: "I tried him in a smaller muzzle and he was so stressed and shut down that he’d stop walking, bash his face on walls and hated being out. I got the lovely new one and he was a different dog overnight. He’s so happy in his muzzle, it’s like he’s not wearing it. Fit is everything."

When choosing a muzzle, it’s important to make sure:

🌡️ It allows excellent airflow so your dog doesn’t overheat while wearing it.
🐶 There is roughly 1cm space between your dog’s nose and the end of their muzzle - their nose shouldn’t touch the end of it.
💦 It allows your dog to open their mouth to pant, eat and drink.
💪 It’s made of a durable material that won’t break.

Remember, what suits one dog might not suit another, so be sure to measure your dog correctly for their muzzle and shop around to see what's available.
