Everyone at Moreton-Russell is so saddened by the news that Margaret Wear has sadly passed away.
She was such an incredible member of the local equestrian community that inspired so many people. We are so thankful for all the hours she gave fence judging and helping at our events.

Moreton-Russell Events is running a qualifier at their ODE on the 29th and 30th June!
Combined with Launceston and Pontispool (1 & 2) - good results at all three venues could be enough for a solid qualification for our Champs at Cirencester Park in September!

The combined challenge is showjumping on grass then you ride straight out onto cross country. No dressage! 🥳 This will be from 70cm-100cm

Due to the never ending spell of bad weather causing a change in our eventing calendar, Purbeck & Dirstrict riding club have kindly allowed us to use the classes at their Arena Eventing competition to be included as one of our points League competitions.

It is with great sadness that we have had to abandoned our BE event this weekend. Despite our best efforts, the weather has really not been on our side. We are looking at other date options and are hoping to reschedule the event, so do you keep your eyes open as we may be able to reschedule to a later date.
We are so sorry for this and hate to have to do it however, horses and riders safety is paramount. We hope you can all understand and hope to see you soon at another event.

We are delighted to say that the jumps are painted and ready to go for our first BE!
As some people can feel uncertainty during this time of year we thought we could let you know how things are going at Moreton.
The ground is looking good despite the rain. At Moreton the ground is sandy/gravel, drains well and only needs 3 days of dry before it’s good to go.
All our SJ is on a 80 x 65 fibre track waxed surface and we have a large field for dressage with plenty of warm up space.
We have run in March continually for the last 6 years so we are keen to get going again in 2024.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks time
