After our last event in September we have been busy preparing for our first event in March!

Firstly we had a large gin & tonic to celebrate the 2024 season 🥂 then we were right back at it adjusting our XC courses and making new jumps. We always want to make sure each year our courses have a slight adjustment.

We have also been buying lots of prizes for the Cotswold Cup and our other events throughout the year.

We will keep you all updated throughout the new year as we build up to our first event but for now we hope you can have a relaxing Christmas. 🎄

⭐️A new prize for 2024 3DE⭐️

A huge thank you to Sean Cooney Botanica Botanica International Ltd for kindly donating this amazing hamper full of their award winning products.

This special new prize will be awarded to the Horse and Rider combination who are best turned out throughout the whole competition and has been judged by various professionals and officials each day.

A road closure reminder for anyone travelling to Moreton today and tomorrow from Wool direction. We have been advised the road is open at the weekend.

Scores are delivered from Horse Trials, arena eventing and unaffiliated events.

❗️❗️Announcements for our 3DE❗️❗️

We have XC course walks and Roads and Tracks briefings with 5* Event Rider Tim Cheffings available for free:

The First walk will be 12.30
The Second walk will be 3.30
The briefing will be 5pm on Friday open to all

When you walk the Roads and Tracks NO DOGS are allowed on phase C due to game birds.

No BBQs are allowed at the event however, we have food available to purchase on Friday and Saturday night.

We hope you all have a fantastic time this weekend.

Everyone at Moreton-Russell is so saddened by the news that Margaret Wear has sadly passed away.

She was such an incredible member of the local equestrian community that inspired so many people. We are so thankful for all the hours she gave fence judging and helping at our events.

Rest easy Margaret and thank you for inspiring us all ❤️

We are delighted to say Mark Smith is sponsoring our special rosettes for competitors who want to compete bitless at our 3DE for a second year running.

Anyone is allowed is compete in all 3 phases bitless and there will be a special rosette for the bitless combination with the lowest finishing score.

Due to lots of support which we are so grateful for our 60cm will not start until 3:30pm and will finish at 7pm ish. If you feel these times will not suit you or your child please let us know so we can WD you to allow for others to move off the waitlist if these timings don’t suit.

Entries are filling up for our upcoming ODE on 16th June. It looks like we are going to have to move our closing date to Sunday, so if you haven’t entered now is your chance!

The NSEA sections are your chance to qualify for the NSEA championships at our 3DE. But don’t forget if you compete in our Unaffiliated sections you can gain points in our Moreton-Russell points league.
