One of the original Dog and I products and for good reason. Transparency.

Here’s something many people don’t realise, in the UK, dog products don’t have to list ingredients on the label. I know - shocking isn't it.

That has always bothered me. I feel that if you’re putting something on your dog’s skin, you should know exactly what’s in it, especially as they will probably lick some of it at some point. So I list every ingredient , even thought it is a PITA to fit it on the small tin labels!!!

Transparency isn’t just about honesty, it’s also about trust. And when you can read the ingredient list and recognise every word that has to be a good thing.

Trainers & Service Providers? Use as part of a client welcome kit.

It has been a good few years since my dog grooming days, about 7 or 8 I think ( I have no idea where those years have gone 🫣) but I can still identify with all these !!!

You excelled yourselves!
Early last week I asked for your recommendations - I was looking for your favourite small businesses making gorgeous gifts for dogs and their owners. So many brilliant suggestions and as a result I have found a whole host of other businesses (and products) that I didn't even know existed. Amazing.
I have compiled it all in to a blog - with links back to the relevant websites and I am pretty sure that if you have a dog or dog owner that you would like to buy a gift for this Christmas you will find something to suit - and all budgets are covered too.
Thank you so much everyone who contributed and if I haven't managed to include every one I am sorry - I had to try and curate it to a degree and where someone doesn't have a website, for example, and only sells locally, it was not so relevant for a national blog.

A restock today for the amazing in the New Forest.
What better for the magical New Forest than an Enchanted Balm and it really is magic, jam packed with infused herbs that are steeped in herbal remedy history, this is one for everyone to have in their canine tool kit. They also happen to have a fab range of really yummy treats too.
Huge credit to Dave and This design started life as a quick pencil sketch sent over by email.
