Let’s talk PUPPIES! 🐾

A puppy introduction session is the very best way to introduce your little bundle to the salon. Think of it more as a little taster session where they don’t have to sit still for very long, have play breaks and get to see again by the end of the appointment… we know a little fringe trim can make all the difference!

Usually your little ones will require 2-4 ‘puppy intro’ appointments prior to their full groom (this is completely dependent on the individual) and can be booked in as soon as a week after their 2nd vaccination. Taking a slow and steady approach is always best to keep it as enjoyable as possible; after all your little one will need to be groomed every 4-8 weeks for the next 15 years, it’s much better to keep it fun and full of love to ensure there is never any worry.

My Leo 🩵

We had to say goodbye to the sweetest boy in the whole world last Sunday. My little Baby Lee, Mr. Handsome, pumpkin, silly boy, trouble maker, polar bear and probably 100 other nicknames from the decade and a half we shared together… I miss you a million already, even forever wouldn’t have been long enough.

I feel so lucky that I got to grow up with such a perfect dog. He is the reason I fell in love with Westie’s, started showing, got our First Prize at Crufts and started this business- I don’t know what I’d be doing if I never had him in my life.

I appreciate everyone who always asks about him, it’s nice to know so many people care and eases the heartbreak just a little bit.

We are back in our lovely salon on 7th January but I will be catching up with any admin this weekend so please don’t worry!

What a beautiful little boy to finish our very busy week off with🤍

Diddy was just a little bit (!) overgrown but was so, so perfect throughout his entire groom. I absolutely adore teddy-bear trims but breed standard grooms are a real passion of mine… especially on a westie!
