This Christmas we shall be supporting two charities in which we work very closely with South East Dog Rescue and Rhodes Minnis Cat Sanctuary.
Please see the lists of items below which give you an idea of the donations needed.
We are able to accept donations from today up until Christmas.
If you are unable to make a donation physically and would like to make a financial contribution instead then please visit their individual pages tagged to find out how.

This little hedgehog has just finished his course of parasite treatment and gaining weight well, he will soon be released back into the wild!
At Burnham House we often have many wildlife patients this time of year, as we come into spring.
If you find any injured or poorly wildlife please contact us for advice on 01304 206 989 🦊🐭🦅
Yesterday we had the pleasure of releasing this Pipistrelle bat after it was found grounded in someone’s bedroom and brought to us severely dehydrated and unable to fly!
The common pipistrelle is just one out of the UK’s 18 different species of bat and this particular one weighed 4g (less than a 20p coin!) Pipistrelles are the UKs most common species of bat and have quite the appetite eating an average of 3500 gnats per night!!
In extended periods of hot weather with lack of rainfall, wildlife commonly struggles to find adequate water sources and therefore become dehydrated quickly (which can be fatal!) Please help your local wildlife by placing a shallow dish of water in your garden and if you find a wild animal in need, call us, the RSPCA or your local wildlife rescue for advice 🦇

If you want to hear more about our seals Vet Jeremy and Nurse Georgia will be speaking on BBC Radio Kent tomorrow morning (between 6am and 10am)
