I’ve had a few messages from people looking for a new groomer due to their current one retiring.
It’s always so hard when the groomer you trust and love retires, it leaves you wondering who to go to next. 😔

I offer free meet and treats for everyone! That way you can come have a look around and see how your dog feels about the new environment and me! There’s no obligation to book as I know everyone’s needs and wants are different. Each little dog has their own personality and it’s always good to see if we match before committing 💞

Breed standard (traditional) pet trims
Possibly my favourite. I love a challenge and I love to see myself improve. I’m thankful for clients who stick with me and trust the process 🫶🏼 It’s impossible to do every breed of dog in training and sadly (for me) there aren’t too many people who keep their dogs in a traditional style. So getting practice isn’t easy. This is my first attempt at a Wheaten Terrier and I’m fairly pleased but I can also see plenty of areas to improve on next time. Always my own worst Critic!

What is dog grooming to me? A career, A passion or maybe even an obsession. I love nothing more than watching, learning and reserching 🤓
I am delighted to be focusing this year on expanding my skills as a groomer, I have already booked myself onto some seminars with world class award winning groomers starting next month with the highly talented James Holberry - The Northen Dog Barber
I cannot wait to bring these new skills back into my salon in Dumfries to elevate my grooms a little more. ✨ 🐾
I’d love to get into competitive grooming… maybe that’s the goal for next year 🐩

A short practical trim for this little lady to keep maintenance to a minimum as she’s not a fan of being brushed. Luckily she’s a queen and has a full wardrobe of nice jackets to keep her snug in this chilly weather 🥶
