It is with heavy heart that I’m writing this- Lumi’s hip and elbow scores came back, and to our surprise, they aren’t perfect.
She ticks all the boxes; breed standard, incredible temperament, and work drive, and my hope was to start a strong line of WSS in the UK with her as my foundation bitch.
My biggest prerequisite for doing this was for her hips to be 0/0.
Unfortunately, they are in ”good” range but not perfect, and so I made a difficult decision not to breed her, but to give her the happy life with us as pet ☺️
I feel deep down it is the responsible decision to do, especially with the amount of BYB out there who create more than enough sick dogs with awful anatomy.
I will be bringing another female to the program soon with the hope of pursuing this dream of mine.
