With this mental weather guys, it’s important to keep our furry friends safe! 🐾

Please bring all pets inside & for goodness sake, check your garden is secure before letting dogs out, we don't want a repeat of the last storm with poor dogs going missing all over the show & remember: ‼️skipping a walk today won’t hurt, but keeping them safe is what matters most‼️
Please be a responsible animal owner today!!! 🐕💛

Lots of amazing prizes with a new Beechgrove voucher added as sadly we lost Hobson on Monday, therefore his owner has donated the voucher.

This is only 1 example to back up my post from this morning!!!

This is what happens when inexperienced & irresponsible dog owners / "breeders" decide it's a good idea to breed.

Poor Oreo has been through so much & to loose another pup is just uncalled for!!

No matter how much funding etc is done we will never even scratch the surface of the damage that is done by these people!

I am totally sickened by humans this day 🥹

The 'B' word absolutely drives me mad!!!

There is no need for 1st time dog owners or any dog owner to even consider breeding their dog without any proper knowledge or vet check ups etc
Bi***es do not NEED to have a litter! This myth "oh im going to let her have 1 litter before getting her neutered" is absolute 💩💩

Dogs at 1 or 2 are not mature enough to have a litter, would you let a 7 or 14 year old girl get pregnant????? Absolutely not so why do people think it's acceptable to breed bi***es not only in general but so young 😡

Are humans actually that oblivious to the amount of pups/dogs that are in rescue, the amount of puppy farm dogs that can't get sold so end up in rescue or worse???

The 1st 3 pictures is my Pyper who was a puppy farm dog, I got her at 5 months old. Puppy farmer couldn't sell her & her 2 sisters so they ended up in a rescue otherwise who knows what the farmer would have done to them 🥹
5 months old & petrified of the world, wouldn't even lift her head to make eye contact with anyone, not even for a treat. Too scared to walk through the house to go outside to the toilet, I had to carry her outside & even then she just went to the toilet where I had set her down.
5 weeks before she was comfortable enough to even play with my other dogs!

The next pictures are of the port puppies this time 2 years ago for the "puppy boom at Christmas" seized at Belfast docks, shipped over from a puppy farm. Not all of these pups survived 😢

Please do not mention the B word in front of me because I will go off on a rant & I'll not be apologising for it!

Before you decide to "breed" go & do a shift in an animal shelter, you'll certainly go home with a different outlook on things!
