😻 Feel Good Friday 😻
And we're celebrating with Betsy who now has her very own duvet for her duvet days 🤣. Yes that bump in the duvet is Betsy. She is now enjoying life to the full with the lovely Fiona who chose to adopt not shop for her fabulous feline friend.

This youngster doesn't just look gorgeous he has the personality to go with it. Super friendly, full of beans and very confident he is an all round fabulous feline 😻.

This petite girl is looking for her retirement home
It's always sad when our feline friends come into the shelter. It's particularly sad when Sparkle had lived her 12 years with the same family and they found themselves in circumstances unable to keep her 😢. Sparkle is a lovely, friendly little cat. She is looking for a quiet home were she can find the same love and care she had in her original home. Sparkle is spayed , microchipped and vaccinated and waiting at Stray Aid Dogs and Cats Home in Coxhoe, County Durham

The photos of your fantastic felines have been exceptionally fabulous this month. It was so difficult to choose so we've gone with 3 for the price of one 🤣. This terrific trio allow the lovely Kirsty to care for them. How lucky is Kirsty 😍

In reception at Stray Aid we have a notice board with the cats and dogs who are available for adoption. There is no better feeling than being able to attach the blue star 'Rehomed' sticker on a profile 🤩

😍 REHOMED 😍

😻We have another beautiful ginger boy looking for his forever home 😻

Tig can be a little shy at first but he settled in to the shelter quickly. He would rather have a proper home with hoomans he could call his own. He is very friendly and affectionate and full of confidence now. At 9 months old he has plenty of years ahead to entertain his new owner. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and waiting at Stray Aid Cats Home in Coxhoe, County Durham.

Roxy has had such a rough ride but it has never quelled her adorable spirit. She came in to us infested with fleas and internal parasites. She has been treated but it has left her with some gastric issues which may be down to the stress of being in the shelter and the ever changing residents. Roxy is still a baby at 1 years old and has the most playful, cheeky and affectionate character. She is adored by our volunteers . We need someone who is willing to give her a chance. If you think this could be you please get in touch and one of our volunteers will be happy to speak to you to give you more details. Ah! Freda 😻
Freda was heading towards being our longest stay resident . It's taken 9 months to find the perfect hooman for her. Most people are looking for a cuddly lapcat and this just wasn't Freda. She is an independent soul and is friendly on her terms. There is the right person for every cat we just have to be patient. We are sooo happy to see her settled 😃
