‼️Poppy is looking for her forever home ‼️

Poppy was frightened and confused when she first came in to the shelter but with gentle coaxing and a regular routine she has settled in with us and is now a chatterbox 😂. At 11 years old she has lived in the same household for all of her life but found the arrival of small children too much to cope with. Poppy is a quiet, friendly cat but takes a bit of time to accept new people. She is looking for a quiet home as an only pet with no children and with someone who is willing to be patient and win her trust.

Fleur is looking for her forever home 😻
Super friendly and affectionate, Fleur is an easy cat to care for. She has the most amazingly fluffy tail.
Fleur is about 18 months old. She came in to us having already had a litter of kittens. Fleur is now spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to find someone who will take proper care of her and not abandon her again.

From tomorrow your cat should be microchipped. Please please check that the chip is registered to you. So many get implanted but not registered. People assume that the person implanting the chip will register the details but they don't.

Feel Good Friday is here again and this week it's the adorable Mavis.
Mavis took a couple of hours to forget us and settle in to her new life 😂. Here she is supervising the building of the cat tree and taking on the role of neighbourhood watch. It was all exhausting 😻

This little cutie pie is looking for the next chapter of her life. Judging by the shape of her head and her temperament, which is quiet and gentle, she has some British Short Hair in her ancestry. She is petite in size and about 18 months old. Mavis is looking for a quiet home. She would be suitable for an experienced owner or a first time cat owner. She could possibly live with another quiet cat. She could possibly live with older children. We don't know whether she's ever met a dog. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchiped.

😻 REHOMED 😻
The gorgeous Oscar is looking for his forever home 😻
Oscar likes to think he's a favourite fur collar 🤣. He's always jumping up on your shoulders to wrap himself round your neck. He's full of fun and loves attention. When he gets excited in playing he can sometimes nip in his enthusiasm. This can be a bit unnerving if you've never had a cat before so probably best with an experienced cat owner. He has lived with another cat before but we suspect he was a bit bossy. He could possibly live with older children. Oscar would love a secure garden to explore once he's reset his satnav to his new home. Oscar is 7years old but thinks he's still a kitten. He is neutered,vaccinated and microchipped.

It's Feel Good Friday 😻
For most cats coming in to the shelter it is a very stressful experience for but for some they are leaving the stress behind and it only takes a couple of days for them to decompress and relax.
This is Benji's experience. He had become extremely stressed in his original home due to a change in his home circumstances. His owner did their very best to try and settle him down but nothing was working.
After 2 days in our shelter he realised he could relax and settle in to our routine. After that it was down to finding the right home so those original stressors would not reoccur. Benji has found his perfect home. He has settled in quickly and is loving his new hoomans 😍.

It's Feel Good Friday 😻
Remember Maisie the little cat that came in to us emaciated? We weren't sure she was going to make it but despite the odds being against her she survived and went on to thrive. We said she was ready to start the next phase of her life and here she is 🥳. She has moved in to her forever home and chosen her favourite hooman to snuggle up with.

Max is ready for adoption 😻
Max is a super friendly boy. He is a very easy cat to care for so could go to a first time cat owner. He could live with older children. He would prefer to be an only pet. Max loves to snuggle under his bedding rather than on it and has caused a few panicky moments when we've not been able to immediately see him in his pen 😳. He loves a fuss and plenty of attention and will let you know that you've hit the right spot by drooling over you.
Max is 7 years old, he is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and will come with a month's insurance.

Our ⭐ for Feel Good Friday today is Newt 😻
Newt took 5 minutes to realise he'd landed on his paws and 10 minutes to start taking his new hoomans for granted 🤣.
One of the fastest settling in periods ever! 🤣🤣🤣
