Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas.
Thank you for your support this year, in whatever way you have managed it, liking our page, volunteering, helping raise valuable funds, donations etc.
It's been a tough year for our hoggies, so let's hope 2025 is better.

Live locally ? Fancy a trip to Flamborough on Saturday ?
If so please pop in and see us at Flamborough Village Hall as we have a stall there from 10am (until about 2 depending on how busy it is). Believe entry is 50p each for Village Hall funds.
We have been gifted lots of things to sell to raise vital funds to keep the rescue open and the hoggies fed.

Support the rescue and sort out a Christmas present all in one hit !

We were donated a brewery tour voucher for 2 from Wold Top for the raffle we did in Flamborough last month. The winner doesn't drink and couldn't find someone to gift it to, so donated it back to us.
So, if you would like it please put a bid in for it, price starts at £18 and your bids need to be in by 5pm next Sunday 22nd September.

Your support is most appreciated, and apologies for the lack of updates, we've been busy with hogs !
We have got a lot back to the wild in the last couple of weeks and now the next batch of little ones will start to appear (see Vanilla) as mum's have a second litter.

Tomorrow (Thursday 5th) we will be at Driffield market (8.30 til around 1).
If you are local please do pop down and say hello, have a go on the tombola and buy a card or two. Depending on space we will also have some craft items for sale.
Every penny helps goes towards the care of our prickly patients ❤️🦔

And the hoglets keep arriving, now up to 12.
We are running short of supplies of Royal Canin puppy mousse. And as the hoglets can't maintain their body temperature we could do with some more snugglesafe heat pads.
If you are able to help us out, our Amazon wish list has been updated but these items may be purchased cheaper elsewhere, do shop around. (See pinned post).

These two little hoglets arrived yesterday, they were 127g & 129g, we have no idea what happened to mum. They join the other orphaned hoglets at the rescue. Jo is busy with them all and trying to catch up with sleep when she can.

We are still looking for volunteers, if you are local to Langtoft and can spare a few hours as week either from 8.30 in the morning or from 5 in the evening, please do get in touch.

Keep leaving water out for our wildlife and if you spot a hog out in the day it's probably not ok - seek advise from a rescue.

These are some of the most recommended kitten/cat biscuits. I've tried Iams, Purina, Smilla, Brambles & Royal Canin which they seem to like. Burgess can be hit & miss and Sainsbury's & Harringtons they have turned their noses up at. (We also use Concept kitten in the rescue, available from bitiba).
But our prickly friends are all different so what works for you and your visitors is all that matters.
The rule is animal protein as first ingredient and a protein content of 30% or more. Try to have a mixture of biscuits, just in case you can't get hold one one brand.
Always leave plenty of water out, they do drink a lot.

You can tell it's hoglet season when these are delivered. 10kgs of each, wonder how long they'll last ❤️🦔
