Well this could be fun! Somewhere new to explore!

January is Walk Your Dog month! With 30 acres to enjoy here at the Museum, why not pay us a visit and then take your four-legged friend for some exercise around our grounds, including a walk to the Gatwick runway viewing area. Dogs are welcome in all parts of the Museum, we just ask that they're kept on a lead please. And after your invigorating walk, head to our coffee shop for a warming hot chocolate!

I was very busy today helping Santa Paws at Willingdon Park Manor Arts and Crafts Fair. It was so lovely to meet so many dogs. All shapes and sizes and some in Santa suits.
Thankyou to Santa and his elf for looking after me. I had a lovely time.

Santa Paws will be at Willingdon Park Manor this Sunday, 11am to 4pm.

Bring your woof along to meet him. For just £5 your furry friend will get a gift and some treats and you will get a copy of the Free Guide to Dog Friendly Eastbourne, a treat recipe book and a wonderful opportunity to grab a great photo.

There are also over 30 stunning arts and crafts stalls to browse selling superb gift ideas at wonderfully reasonable prices.
And after all the excitement why not grab yourself a piece of cake and a cuppa ... or really treat yourself to a waffle or a smoothie!

Santa Paws is coming to town!

Join us at Willingdon Park Manor on Sunday 15th December to visit Santa Paws in his luxurious, cosy grotto with the twinkling starry ceiling.

As well as receiving a lovely gift this is a great photo opportunity for your four legged friend.

There will be over 30 fantastic arts and crafts stalls to peruse and find that last minute unique quality Christmas gift.

Take time for a delicious slice of cake and hot drink in the salon.

Entrance to the dog friendly event is free. Tickets for Santa Paws are £5 for each four legged friend available on the door or to purchase in advance from www.dogfriendlyeastbourne.co.uk and tell us a bit more about your pet so Santa has the opportunity to find the pawfect gift for them.

OK the secret is now out ... Eastboune came 2nd in the dog friendly towns and cities category at the Dog Friendly UK awards. Here's hoping we can go one better next year and grab a 1st!

Scamp had a terrific day yesterday in London.

She was attending the Dog Friendly UK awards held at the Kennel Club to represent Eastbourne who were one of the finalists for most Dog Friendly Town.

All the doggies attending received a certificate and a gift bag that was presented by actress Debbie Arnold.

She also got to meet Ted from Gone Fishing who was there for a book'signing' and managed to wangle a bit of sarnie from Mum and Dad.

Sunday lunch at the Dolphin Pub. Mum and Dad had two huge veggie roasts which they said were delicious. I had a very tasty sausage.

Just been in to The Little Barkery which opened in Bexhill today.
Lots of lovely delicious food in the freezers. Mum got me some lovely treats: Chicken, Pluck and Liver. Yum! I'll be a good dog and share them with my brothers (maybe!)
