A brilliant day today up at Land Rover Blair Castle International Horse Trials grooming for Ashliegh & her lovely lady Molly Approved.

It’s days like this that remind me exactly why I love my job. To be able to support both horse and rider to success is an incredible feeling. When they win, I win with them🏆

A wonderful client of mine who has bravely taken to the roads to help improve everyone’s safety whilst out on our horses 🐴

On 20th July Musselburgh Community Officers carried out a static speed check on Carberry Road, Musselburgh after receiving numerous complaints of speeding.

During this time a local horse rider was present with her horse in order to highlight issues of vehicles safely passing horses on the road.

A number of drivers were warned in relation to their speed on this road.

Officers also identified a number of road users pulling out into oncoming traffic when passing the horse and also passing too fast. Please remember that when passing horses, vehicles should slow down to a walking pace until safely passed.

Officers will be carrying out further speed checks at various locations in the Musselburgh area over the next few weeks.
