Our new Xmas cracker hanging bird toy! Little breakdown of what it is made from and how to fill it for your birdie all the foraging fun!! We also have a new Xmas cracker foot toy. It can be attached to the cage or playstand with a cable tie for birdies who have smaller beaks or aren’t quite used to foot toys yet or given as a foot toy for bigger beaked birdies.

Our new Mini Natural Activity board are now available at our online shop. The back of this Activity board is made of natural untreated pine with a space cut for a favourite perch. With lots of easy shreddable textures for your birdie to explores: natural vine, sola, mahogany, balsa, cork & palm. The mini palm board makes for some preening fun. The two mini vine balls with birdsafe dye are great for stuffing with treats to add some foraging to keep mini beaks busy. Mini beak toys like this one are a good size for: parrotlets, budgies, finches, canaries, lovebirds or cockatiels. Or similar sized birds. They are a great started board for more timid birds or ones who are new to shredding. A more confident seasoned destroyer of the species above might be better suited to the bigger Small Natural Activity Board as that would be more of a challenge! Both Activity Boards come with birdsafe metal (stainless steel) cage attachments.

Our new tray of Cupcakes! Perfect for a table top parrot party 🎉 a good toy for your flock to share, hiding treats in the cupcakes and under the paper shred to turn it into a foraging toy. You can pop a nutri-berry in the vine cube. The 8” plan board base can also be mounted on the side of a cage, top of a cage or on a play stand like any of our activity boards/mats.

It’s Busy Birdies 1st Birthday 🥳! This last year has really flown by 🤭😆Thank you so much for supporting us and our new tiny birdie business. Bright little banana crunch valentines toy for tiny & mini beak toy! With sola, balsa & mahogany. Great for smaller beaks and a great starter toy for small beaks new to toys and shredding! Lots of easy shred and it’s not too scary for a more timid Budgie or Cockatiel. A mix of textures for beaks to explore and finger traps for loading with treats to get birdie foraging.

Our Seagrass Huts & Trapezes are still selling well. These are a safer natural alternative to fabric huts or tents. Soft fabric huts, soft toys or fleece tents should be avoided in cages along with cotton rope toys or perches. Fabric poses a great risk to your bird as it can be chewed and then ingested and potentially lead to life threatening crop impaction. Covering rope perches with vet tape is a good way to make them safer (making sure to change it regularly) but many ourselves included prefer to keep rope toys and rope perches outside for the cage for supervised play only. Remember no toy is ever 100% safe so keep regularly checking all your toys and metal fixtures to make sure they are not getting nibbled, rusty, loose or could become a hazard in some unexpected way. Vigilance and prevention will keep your birdies safe.

Treat bag contains dry treats, some parrot safe grasses, oat spray, dried coconut, pumpkin seeds, millet, sesame seeds, dried beetroot see listing for full list.

Great you to start a small bird foraging. Refill with your birdies favourite fry treats and change out the beech chips for the refill to freshen it up in a couple of weeks/month or so depending on how much birdie uses and or poos in it 🙈😆 position is key so to avoid it getting 💩 don’t place under a perch, near a water dish etc.

Our Special Christmas cupcake range!! We are raising money for this Christmas! This money donated will go towards the vet bills, heating and feeding bills of the charities resident parrots. Why not treat your birdie to a fun Christmas cupcake and help a rescue birdie at same time! Huge thank you to everyone who has already bought a charity cupcake! We have decided to continue our support of this charity & have a few toys on sale all year round that donate to Parrots Trust. Charities like this one do amazing work all year round & need regular support to help care for their birdies. So keep an eye out for our new toys in the new year. This local charity does great work treating injured birdies, rehabbing them, caring for them & finding rescues their best fit forever home! Busy Birdie foraging bowls! Keep your birdie active and healthy this Christmas. Foraging should be encouraged. It is how they would search for food in the wild. Domesticated birdies can often can get a bit lazy or bored when they don’t have to look for their food because it’s sitting waiting for them in their food dish. So to keep birdie active during their in cage time you can put foraging toys around the cage and hide treats or their daily food in it. So they have to work for it and travel all around the cage looking for it. It’s a great way to get birdie of their feathery bum and not dosing on a perch all day long. A Busy Birdie is a happy & healthy birdie. Additionally having foraging areas around the room for birdie to find and explore during their out of cage time is a great way to encourage them to get even more exercise. These three foraging bowls can be attached to the cage inside or facing out for supervised foraging. With a stainless steel bolt and penny washers it could also be attached to a playstand.

Foraging Platform Perch! New product available now on website!!! This food platform perch is designed to get your birdie foraging for their dinner or treats! Promoting a more active or “Busy Birdie” during their caged time. The idea is to get them off their perches travelling around their cages looking for their food - more like they would in the wild! But taking food out the food dish and putting it in the Foraging Platform Perches around the cage you will be encouraging more movement and activity in their cage. Stimulating their natural instincts and getting them excited about searching for their own food or treats! Keeping them busy while you’re out/away from home or busy working.
