Dogs are not clones.

They are not carbon copies or exact replicas of each other.

While a dog's breed may dictate what he or she looks like on the outside, every dog, regardless of breed (or mix thereof), has a unique personality and temperament shaped by his or her care, training, environment, personal history, and past experiences.

Dogs of the same breed -- even dogs from the same litter -- have distinct and individual personalities. No two dogs are alike because no two dogs have the same lived experience.

Look deeper.

In Argentina, there's a restaurant called Restobar Dickens, with a sign saying:
"We ask all our customers with all our hearts not to be upset by the number of stray dogs that may be in the restaurant.
We are a pet friendly place and we give water, food and lots of love to these sweet angels.
I'm sorry if it bothers you, but they're not doing anything wrong, they're just looking for food or shelter.
