Hi everyone, let me reintroduce myself! My name is Sam and ever since I was a child I’ve wanted to work with animals.

I spent 3 years at college studying Animal Care/Management, then 3 years at Liverpool John Moores University studying Animal Behaviour and finally 2 years at Manchester Metropolitan University studying Zoo Conservation Biology.

I’m lucky that I’ve been on many trips and have plenty of experience working with different animals!

Currently I work as an Animal Care Technician in a veterinary practice and looking to restart my pet sitting journey on my days off.

You can find my pet sitting profile on Rover here: https://www.rover.com/sit/samanc01237 and if you use this code: SAMANC01237, you get £15 off your first booking with me! Keep in mind I only cover the Ellesmere Port area.

I hope you consider me to look after your fury friends, and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to message me either on here, through Rover itself or on WhatsApp!

Hi everyone, been a while since I’ve posted on this page! I’m thinking of setting up my pet sitting services again, I’m a shift worker (working 4 on and 8 off) so would have the time to do it. Also the extra money would be a bonus😉

I wouldn’t be based in Warrington this time as I’ve now moved to Ellesmere Port area. What does everyone think?

Let me know!

Think of your kitties too!!

With the in full swing, cat owners should be mindful of the signs of heatstroke. 🐱🌡️ Heatstroke is a very serious condition that can cause severe dehydration, organ damage and death. Obese, long-haired, old, young and brachycephalic/flat-faced cats (such as Persians) are most at risk of developing heatstroke because they find it harder to cool down.

The most common cause of heatstroke in cats is being accidentally trapped in a hot, poorly ventilated space such as a shed, greenhouse, conservatory, or garage, so make sure to keep an eye on your cat in very hot weather! ☀️ If your cat is showing symptoms of heatstroke, start cooling them down immediately and contact your vet. The quicker your cat is cooled down and treated by a vet, the better their chance of recovery.

See advice from our vets on what you can do to help prevent or provide first aid for heatstroke: http://pdsa.me/amQc

🧊 Please note that ice cubes are perfectly safe for cats to use as a treat to cool down on a hot day. It is when a cat is suffering from heatstroke that the drastic change in temperature from the ice can cause shock and, therefore, should be avoided. A cat’s normal body temperature ranges between 38.1-39.2°C (100.5-102.5°F).

Lots of fun looking after these two last night!

Hi everyone! As some of you are probably aware I start a new job soon, I’m really excited about this new chapter in my life and cannot wait to see what happens!! That unfortunately brings me to my next point…as of the 19th August I will no longer be a pet sitting on Rover. A very hard decision to make however, my new job will require my full attention.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to every single one of you! Whether you trusted me with your pets, considered me for a booking, or even if you just like/share/comment on my posts on here it means the world to me💕

I’ve enjoyed every second of this journey and wouldn’t change it for the world!

Thank you everyone! Xx

Just a quick one everyone…if you don’t require my services anymore for whatever reason I’d be grateful if you could let me know ASAP. I go out of my way and make days on my calendar unavailable when I accept a request, and if you know in advance you don’t need me then please let me know. I understand circumstances change, but communication is so important.

Thanks!

☀️🐾☀️🐾☀️During the hot weather please think about dogs/other animals. They can't tell us they're to hot. The surface temperatures are going to be crazy next week. 45-50C surface temperatures, even higher in places, just think about dogs paws 🐾🐾🐾

🥺🥺HOT WEATHER FROM A DOGS PERSPECTIVE 🥺🥺

This totally breaks our heart 💔💔 - when you see people unnecessarily walking dogs in the heat 😔😔😔

9th and 10th August gone now! Slowly filling up fast!
