It was the official opening for Pawsitive secure dog field today and I went along with Luna and Nick. Dogs were kept on leads for this event but you will be able to rent the field and let your doggies run free and explore the activities. There is even an undercover soft play area.Here we are celebrating the opening with lighting of the cake and Luna trying out some of the amazing activities.Met some lovely people and their doggies.Also had a good chat with Barnfield Pet Services who offer pet sitting in your own home. The Village Pet Shop, Somersham who supplied the goodie bags for the dog show competition, and have a pet shop full of wonderful things for your pets.I was there Brindles Dog Grooming to chat to anyone about the dog grooming I offer in Lastly a big thank you to Nat & Steve doggie boarding and day care for welcoming us to their lovely field.

📢 Exciting news! Pawsitive is hosting an open day for their brand-new secure dog walking field this weekend! Join in the fun on Sunday, January 19th, from 12 PM to 3 PM.

🐶 Enjoy delicious dog snacks provided by K9 Kakes and don’t miss the fun dog show at 2 PM, featuring 5 categories to showcase every pup’s talent. Prizes for 1st place in each category are from The Village Pet Shop, Somersham.

🤥 This open day is a fantastic opportunity to meet the Pawsitive team and explore everything their new field has to offer.

🚗 Please note that parking within the secure field is reserved for staff on the day of the event. It is kindly asked that you find roadside parking and walk down.

For safety, it is also kindly asked that all dogs remain on a lead, as guests will be arriving and leaving at their own pace, and some dogs may not be familiar with each other. Thank you! 🐶💕

As my final dog of the year walks from the salon this afternoon I looked back on all I have achieved over the past year.
I would like to thank all my lovely clients and their furry friends who have come to see me @ Brindles Dog Grooming, you have all helped grow my business over the past year and your continued support is very much appreciated.

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. I look forward to see you all next year.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking Luna to a doggie Christmas Party.
She had a fantastic time and had an opportunity to meet some of the dogs which go to Pawsitive doggie day care. We also had the opportunity to see the new enclosed field which is due to open soon.
Thank you Nat Steve Martin so much for the invite and Luna’s party bag. She is very tired today.

If you would like your dog looking good for Christmas, (dare I say it). You have enough time to get a groom in now and then again ready for the big day. Don’t put off a groom until then as they might become matted, then they will need clipping off which may not be so pleasing.

I was not grooming today but went on a Canine First Aid course run locally by The Paw-works at the Arkenstall Village Centre in Haddenham.
As well as topping up on my canine first aid knowledge there were some lovely people attending and some scrumptious cakes.
Thank you to Jan Wiffin for her knowledge and Yvonne Mackender for hosting the event.

It’s good to keep up with your skills and knowledge by regularly attending CPD events.
