Is your cat a stealthy ninja, knocking things off tables with precision? Turns out, they're not plotting world domination, they're just being cats!

Reasons your cat might be causing a mini earthquake:

😺Instinctual Behaviour: Cats are natural hunters. Batting at objects mimics the action of catching prey.
😺Seeking Attention: If knocking over a glass gets a reaction from you, your cat might repeat the behaviour for more attention.
😺Boredom: Indoor cats may knock things over to entertain themselves when they're feeling a bit... under stimulated.

Remember, it's not personal, it's just feline nature! 🤣

While there's no scientific evidence that dogs experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) in the same way humans do, shorter days and colder weather can affect your dog’s mood. Help keep your dog upbeat during the colder months with these simple strategies:

🏀Short, regular walks and indoor play
🌞Exposure to natural light
🐕Mental stimulation with toys and training
🛏A cozy, warm space for relaxing

A little extra care can make winter a happy season for your furry friend!

🐁🐀🎉Happy Fancy Rat & Mouse Day! Did you know rats are some of the most playful pets you can have? They love to play on their own, with other rats, and with you!
You might notice:

• Gentle nips, wrestling, or “play fighting” (all perfectly normal and healthy!)
• Happy jumps, hops, or “popcorn” moments when they’re excited
• Chirps and little noises that show they’re content and having fun

Rats are mostly nocturnal, so expect some nighttime play and zoomies around their enclosure. Their playful antics and social nature make them endlessly entertaining companions! ❤

📷Share a snap of your playful rats - we’d love to see them in action!

Is your home truly cat-friendly? 🐱Cats may not say when they’re stressed but their behaviour shows it. Small changes can make a big difference:

☑️Quiet spots to hide and observe
☑️Separate food, water, litter, and resting areas
☑️Vertical spaces like shelves or perches
☑️Regular play to satisfy their hunting instincts

A little effort = less stress, happier cats and a stronger bond.

🎃 It’s Halloween tomorrow – here's our top tips to avoid your pets getting SPOOKED! 👻

1) Walk dogs before it gets dark and keep cats in on the night to avoid them bumping into scary-looking ‘Trick or Treaters’.
2) Keep pets away from the front door (and treats out of reach) if you’re opening it to ‘Trick or Treaters’.
3) Make a den for your pet to retreat into if they get anxious.
4) Going out all night or having a party at home? Consider asking someone you trust to pet-sit at their house.

If your pet does get hold of the Halloween candy, give our emergency team a call day or night on 0208 783 2850.
