The weather this week is looking hot! I’ll be keeping a close eye on the temperature on walks and if I feel it’s too hot I will change walks to garden visits instead.
Dogs can be at risk of heat stroke and burning paws if it’s too hot.

Good morning everyone. Just a little update. Thursday is fully booked this week. If anyone needs any cat visits please let me know. I’m off 24th May - 5th June. I’ll try and take some pictures over the next few days and post on here.

I didn’t manage to get pics on my last two walks. Here’s Milo enjoying his pavement walk today.
My Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays are pretty much booked up, unless you have a pooch that will get on well with other pooches.
There’s also limited space available for Wednesdays & Friday.
If you need a dog walker let me know ☺️

Yesterday I took Frankie along with one of my afternoon walks. They all enjoyed a power walk around the fields and lake ☺️

Home/garden visits. I had to carry this little man to the green by him for a wee on the grass as he doesn’t do one in the garden when I’m here. The pavement was too hot to let him walk on it. He’s now back in doors chilling with me. He doesn’t want to play. He just wants a fuss.

It’s looking likely that I’ll be doing one morning walk at 8am and maybe one 9am walk depending on how quickly it warms up. But I imagine just a 8am walk each day. The rest of my day will be pop in visits involving paddling pool, games that are treat based or a play in doors with a toilet break in the garden depending on how shady the garden is.
Thanks again for your understanding.
Towards the end of the week forest walks if possible but again it’s weather permitting. I’m not risking the pooches in this heat.
Remember to check the heat of the pavement in gardens too as they can burn their little paws 🐾

It’s that time of year where I need to start thinking about the heat and the safety of your pets. I’ll keep an eye each day on temperature. I may need to start earlier. I may only be able to do garden visits with some pooches. I will try my best to accommodate every pooch. Safety is my number one priority.
Remember early morning walks and late evening (if temperatures drop)
I will keep you all updated.

After a lovely break in Turkey 🇹🇷 I’m back to work tomorrow. Please feel free to message me with cat sitting bookings for this year as I’m getting booked up already with visits. Dog walking slots are pretty much gone now I’m afraid unless your pooch gets on with other pooches. Many thanks.
