Thank you to everyone who has donated to the STARFIELD Farm Animal Sanctuary fund since the release of my short film on the WaterBear Network!

The sanctuary has received around £500 in the first couple of weeks of the film being on the platform, which has already been helpful towards the animals care this winter.

The WaterBear team also redesigned the artwork, featured the film on their home page and promoted the film as a must-watch doc for Veganuary. We are very grateful to them for all their support!

So we did it everyone. We got the land thanks to a bridging loan from a very kind individual and the money was returned to them after we completed on the sale the following week.
The land is beautiful and despite the awful weather, we are frantically trying to get it set up for the animals as the animals are not here yet.
They are currently being fostered at two locations, an hour apart, by friends and family and only a few are at the new land. There is not enough finances left to build shelters etc - this would have been the same if we had stayed put as the barn in East Devon was beyond repair and would have unlikely lasted another winter.
I know it is a lot to ask but if anyone can help raise funds, I’d really appreciate it.
We need to create the spaces for all the animals to live in their family groups and cater for their needs.
As you can imagine, with the travelling each day between the 2 locations and trying to do basic preparations at the new location, I do not have time to fund raise at all. Any help would be much appreciated. I really need to bring the animals back together under the ‘same roof’.

Critically urgent! 🐷 🐑 🐐 🦃 🐓
STARFIELD Farm Animal Sanctuary will lose its new location if £150,000 loan cannot be found in 7 days.
Only a loan is needed as when the current land completes (contract has been exchanged), the money can be paid back.
The money would go directly to the solicitor and a legal document can be drawn up.
Unfortunately, there is no extension possible. No other option. If the £150,000 is not found then these 104 animals will be homeless and a £32,000 deposit will lost. Please, if you know of anyone who can help, is good with social media or has contacts then please message this page

It definitely felt like a family portrait session with these guys at times! As you can see, they were even striking similar poses, yesterday we had the kid (😁 I am oddly proud of that!) and today we have the mum of the group, Polly 🥰

You may have seen on my Story that I paid a visit to STARFIELD Farm Animal Sanctuary last week. Well, while I was there, this gorgeous girl Grace, was my supervisor!

Every 10 minutes or so she would come and take a look at us, watch us for a few minutes to see what we were up to and then walk away again. Such a beautiful, intelligent, girl 🥰

Today's sheep is Phoenix from STARFIELD Farm Animal Sanctuary in Devon! Phoenix is a lovely soul and this poor girl has an eye condition that means not only is she almost totally blind, but her eyes keep growing. She's a very cuddly and affectionate girl.

To everyone that has taken Forest into their hearts, please take a few minutes to listen to the words of this song...

It was our song, me and Forest Bumpkin.

Last night the angels came for Forest. His little body was exhausted and however much he wanted to be with me I couldn't let him struggle anymore.
He was sleeping on my knee, Johanna my vet just helped him at the last second and he was calm and at peace.
Never have I ever had the privilege of being a mum to such a brave, honest, lost but found, loving little boy as Forest. He fought with everything, every second of every day, not just for him but for me, I know that, he was so deep in my heart and soul, it was like we were one.

The last 2 months have been totally dedicated to Forest, every second that I was awake was with him.
I am lost, alone, broken. My little boy Forest has left this world. I have to believe that there is more to this life, another chapter, another place. I will see him again, one day, he will run so fast, his feet won't touch the ground.

So with this I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart and Forest would do the same, you are all incredibly generous and caring people.
At some point soon I will return his wheels to the wonderful Pumpkin & Friends Charity 1199484 for the next brave little soul to learn to walk and live a happy life, knowing they are loved so much that legs or disabilities don't matter, in fact they make a little person more beautiful, more amazing and more loved.

Forest and I thank you, thank you so so much ❤

An update on Forest... 🐑💚

FOREST ❤️

I would like to say an enormous thank you to everyone that donated to buy Forest a wheelie cart. It arrive yesterday, to a neighbour, so I collected it at around 3am this morning when I left Forest. Its still in the box but so excited to put it together and show Forest his new legs. He will be so very thankful to you all. He fights so hard, every second of every day to overcome the several illnesses he's had, sores he still has, wry neck, being emaciated and only having minutes to live, so dehydrated every one of his veins collapsed when trying to get a drip in. Ulserated right eye, no movement at all in his body. Even I was ready to let him go to sleep when I first saw him and I never do that !His eye is now getting better but slowly, with some vision, his neck is almost straight and he can hold it and move it about, his front legs are now getting stronger but has sadly lost all movement in his back, but not to worry he said, his new wheels will get him up and about to help heal his sores, help his circulation and start to get the movement back in his back legs.
Forest needs you all to know how amazing you all are, how incredibly generous you are and thank you from the bottom of his heart and how so loving you are to believe in him.
I myself don't have the words that can ever tell you my gratitude, how thankful I am or how overwhelming it was to see the email that said Forest's wheels had been dispatched.
For ever animal out there , each and every one of them fights for their life no matter what type or breed, size or skin. Forest is one of the greatest examples of a little farmed animal that loves life enough to fight so hard he can hardly baa loud enough to say, I want to live.
Every night when I put him to bed, covered up with his hotties , blankets, nappy and hay, he looks at me and pierces my soul with the deep intense look of love from his heart. He is a miracle, my little Forest and now because of everyone that follows Pumpkins wheelie good friends Forest is about to journey back to being able to be mobile again. In fact last night he decided that he didn't want me, his mummy, to feed him with his syringe anymore, he wanted to eat and drink himself from his bowl and so he did.
THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE, for the donations and wheels.
TODAY we will fight another day but with the knowledge we have friends and people who care. Today is the first day of Forest's road to walking 💖🥰❤️🌹🌺🌻🌟🌠🌈

An update on little Forest at STARFIELD Farm Animal Sanctuary from our earlier post...now lying comfortably on his LEFT side. Jane continues to support him with warmth, manual feeding and very gentle massage/limb mobilisations...and says he's now lifting his head to look around. Lovely to hear. Qualified vet physio treatment is always helpful but it is essential to have dedicated onsite care. Please have a look at STARFIELD Farm Animal Sanctuary if you can.
