Hello again and a big welcome back to Rainbow Bridge Vets! I’ve been a little quiet on here as I took some time over the summer to recharge and more recently, navigate the emotional ups and downs of a big new chapter at home. My eldest started primary school and my youngest began pre-school, it truly is the end of the baby era for me! 😢
It’s been a beautiful but emotional transition. While I’ve still been back quietly supporting families over recent weeks, social media had to take a little pause.
I also had the privilege of speaking at the amazing The Dog Geeks Canine Conference in September, sharing with pet professionals how to recognise when it’s the right time to say goodbye. A wonderfully engaging experience.
Now I’m back here, ready to reconnect and share more about life as a home euthanasia vet, and as a senior dog mum. Koru at 14, with degenerative myelopathy and arthritis, is still here facing her challenges with her usual grace and doing OK. 💕 Alphie is his usual 11-year-old lurcher-self!
So, let me reintroduce myself:
I’m Sara, an experienced and compassionate vet dedicated to helping you and your beloved dogs and cats experience peace, comfort, and dignity at the end of life, all in the familiar surroundings of home.
If you’d like to learn more about how I support families through this difficult time, give me a follow or visit my website to check my availability and book online:

It’s lovely to be back 🐾 🌈 🏡
