Share the love for your pets with a photo and an interesting fact about them! Here is my Koru dog, she's 12 year's old and was brought over with me when I moved back from New Zealand in 2013.

'Koru' is Māori and means 'new beginnings'. The koru is also the inspiration for our logo - our pet's passing may not be their end and the rainbow bridge says that your pet will be waiting for you to meet again one day.

Happy Easter and a warm welcome to April (we hope!)

Introducing Murphy, our family hyperthyroid golden oldie 💕. He's doing well and was stable on his blood tests last week. We're closely watching his quality of life to ensure he stays happy and as healthy as he can be. We hope your golden oldies are doing OK too.

'It's impossible to forget a dog that gave you so much to remember.' Each pet you have lives with you through many life experiences and you can create many happy memories that you get to keep forever.

Incredibly grateful that my boss back in 2010 could give my Winnie her final goodbye at home. I couldn't bring myself to do it but I was able to hold her. It was so peaceful and calm and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I'm glad I can now help others pet's to have a calm, dignified goodbye in the comfort of home.

Took some time out yesterday to walk Alphie and remember the pets we've helped pass over Rainbow Bridge in the past couple of weeks. You always remember your firsts and I'm incredibly grateful for our first families who chose us to help their faithful friends pass peacefully at home. Thank you, Sara

Hello, I’m Sara, founder of Rainbow Bridge Vets, a dedicated home euthanasia service for cats and dogs in Exeter and surrounding areas of Devon.

I’ve worked as a small animal vet in the South West and New Zealand for 15 years. Having been part of the final goodbye for many pets and their owners over the years, it is a privilege to be able to offer this service in pet owners homes.

Your usual vet may be able to offer a home visit but if they can’t, then I’m here to help.

I’m based in East Devon and have been here for the past ten years, loving the area and its pet loving community. I’m finishing the end of my second maternity leave and Rainbow Bridge Vets will be available to book from March 2024.
