Both pooches done so well! Wee Kali is one of them she might be small but wow she is mighty!! 🐶🐶 both running up them hills loving life! The pooches are on there holidays too when here 🐾🥰

Great stay as always with my two regulars Frankie & Fergie (F&F) bringing in the new year together 🐶🐶

The festive season has been a busy one and you can see by the last picture frankie and my boyfriend were in there sleepy food coma zones together 🤣🐾

Reminder i am turning the big 30 this weekend so i am clocking off now to celebrate this and return back with the pooches & messages on the 10th 🫶

Hi everyone hope we are well!

I know i am behind in messages for next year dates ☹️ i'm trying my best to answer what i can (dates depending for myself too) i will get back to you all i might just be a few days later than expected but if i don't just give me a nudge please 🐶🐾

As many people will know i am also a singer so i'm starting to enter the busiest season for it all and also turning the big 30 on the 7th of January 🎅🏻🎙️ So please bear with me 😆 i do have no availability left now for the rest of the year , it's been a busy year 😘

I'll try do an update soon of what has already gone for next year too but this will probably be done in january when everything settles 🫶

Good sunday walk with the pooches today 🐶🐶 i'm wearing a scarf as i have a bit of a cold 🤧🤧
Was defo a muddy one today and Oscar loves to have actual mud baths in the puddles 😆😆 all cleaned and cosied up on the couch now 🫶

Hello everyone 😃

Just a wee update to say that's me fully booked now until the 22nd of October and then i'm away after this till the end of October 🐾

Limited availability left till the end of the year now and then my diary for next year is open until July/August 2024 right now and already booking up quickly 🫶

As i get into the year i will open my book more i just need to get away myself at some point ☺️

Please remember the price increase from the 1st of November (pinned post on the page) 🐶

Also more dog visits will be happening from November onwards when i am a bit more quiet so i will be in touch soon ☺️

My heart is breaking for the XL bully breeds 😔😔 no dog is born bad it's how these breeders are breeding them and being brought up to be this aggressive way 😭 with proper owners and training a dog gets all the chances in the world and now it's just been stripped 😢 protect your babies if you have one already 🫶 toni's pooch pad welcomes all dogs and will always give a pooch a chance 🐾

This!!! A dog is hard work but so worth the hard work to get the unconditional love they give back!! Do your research before you get a pooch 🐾

This is the side of rescuing that people don’t see, and just don’t realise how hard it is for us behind the scenes.
Strap in guys, while I explain.

This is Marcus.

His owner contacted me to ask me to rehome him, because….
‘He barks at other dogs and people when out so needs rehoming ’

Marcus is a 2 year old patterdale x Labrador.

He had been owned by said owner for… 5 weeks.

He’s just settling in, learning his new environment and family, and at only 2 years old he will be rather overwhelmed as well as adjusting to everything new.

Barking is how dogs communicate, and express their fears, and also excitement.

When I asked his owner what training she had been doing with Marcus to help him overcome his possible nervous behaviour, the answer was ‘he’s had none’

I explained I am full at the moment but I will let her know when I had room to fit him in.

2.5 hours later I receive a call from a vet practice.

Marcus had been taken to the vets to be EUTHANISED.

Put to sleep.
To end his life, because his owner could not be bothered to put any time or training into him.

THANKFULLY, the vets refused and called us.
They spoke to their behaviourist while they were there, and offered the owner sessions to help Marcus- the owner declined.

Killing him was the easy way to end her problem.

So, of course, with fear the owner would then just go to another vet and put him to sleep- I made room.
I don’t have room, but I’m not having it.

Marcus has been with us less than half an hour.
He has sat, taken a treat very gently.
Has met 6 dogs- enjoyed a sniff and his tail hasn’t stopped wagging

He hasn’t barked yet.

Too many people are getting pets without any consideration to the time they need to adjust, and expecting them to be ‘perfect companions’ without actually putting anything into them.

Take some responsibility and invest the time into them, you chose them to be part of your family. Stop destroying them just because you cannot be bothered to help them.
It’s not their fault.

You are safe Marcus, and loved.
You will never be treated so badly again, and that I can promise.

Hello everyone 🐶

It's been a full two months with the pooches 🫶

The beautiful Mac has left the pooch pad today after being with me for 9 nights 🐾

I am now away on holiday very early tomorrow and won't respond to messages until the 8th of August ❣️

I am leaving the diary at home to get a total break.. as when i'm back it's back to full on again 😆

The big boy Blaze is back in the pad again 🐶
He really is a big softy who loves a good play & snooze 💤
He's been having fun at the beach this weekend and is staying with me for a total of 16 nights 🐾

Winnie & Peri we're back in the pad for a 6 night stay while Peri's Pawrents we're off getting hitched in Ireland 🐶🥰 (peri & winnie's pawrents are best friends 🫶)

Hi everyone hope we are well 🐾
Just wanted to let everyone know of my slight price increase coming in from the 1st of November 🐶 (bookings that have already been secured and deposits taken will still be on my old prices but all future bookings will now be these prices)
I hope we can understand with everything going up in life it's decision i have had to make and not done lightly!
I also only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time and don't take anymore than this at the pooch pad, as this works better in my home for the pooches.
I always want to ensure they have the best comfortable stay with me 🥰🐾
