Reflexology & Animal Reiki with Allison

My boy has been enjoying a little reiki every day for his soft tissue injury. Although he is still on very limited walks until we see the vet next week I can see how brighter and happier he is. He was on a number of pain meds which have slowly been reduced with no noticeable pain from him.

The first few days I worked with him there was so much heat from the area the vet thinks he has the injury but this has slowly reduced over the past few days. Fingers crossed he can start getting back to normal soon, slowly and steadily as always 💞

I had to take my boy to the vet this afternoon. When he got up he was holding his back leg up, I did a check of his paw, hip and leg and couldn't find anything obvious ao thankfully the vet has an appointment an hour later.

Before we went I did 10 mins of reiki for him so he'd be calmer while he was sore and with limited mobility. I'll keep doing this alongside his pain relief. I also did some occipital massage in the waiting room to keep him calm, both worked a treat and he just lay down and chilled out while we waited. He's not going to be happy with no walks for a few days! 💙

I did my first horse and rider reiki for Victoria and Thunder yesterday. What an awesome duo they are! 💕

I've found so far that horses relax into reiki more quickly than dogs, Thunder is used to having therapies so he chilled out very quickly as did Victoria. I did lots of connection work for them although it's very clear they already have an amazing connection but it's always good to enhance it as well as working on any other areas needing more energy.

Thunder showed all the behaviours I know of a very relaxed horse, bottom lip loose, eyes relaxed, back leg bent and just relaxed on the front of his hoof and of course gas! Victoria nearly fell asleep 😴

It was lovely when Thunder came over to me near the end and just rested his muzzle in my hand, he's such a gentle boy. He had had all he needed about 5 mins from the end so I just sent some reiki to his stable.

I'll be back to see them both next week for a shorter session as we don't feel he'll need another hour. It's always good to book a series of reiki sessions as it is cumulative.

For those who love therapies as much as I do have a look at Victoria's own page. She does salt therapy, I don't know an awful lot about it but it is fantastic for skin conditions and can help with breathing. One of my other reiki clients goes to her regularly and it's made a difference to his skin.

My boy was 'off' yesterday, I checked all the obvious things like eyes, ears, teeth, toilet habits etc and nothing jumped out. I think it may partly have been his arthritis but wasn't completely convinced it was only this. He just seemed utterly fed up and was even turning his nose up at his blueberries (did eat them eventually)

I did a half hour reiki for him and again nothing overly obvious, a chakra balance and more energy needed at his shoulders so I did that.

Today he is back to normal! Brighter, happier on his walk (which I shortened a bit) and eating as normal. I guess dogs have off days the same as we do and I'm so happy he's back to his normal cheery self. I'm sure the reiki helped balance him out again, such a fantastic tool to have 💕

My boy loves when I do my reiki energy work in the morning and if I don't do it exactly when he expects me to I am whined at until I do! It sets us both up for the day ahead.

After his walk I do some enrichment work, this is one of my small Tropic boxes with some treats and kibble from his allocation in the paper filling. I try to mix it up and he does love a challenge! So important to keep your dog's brain working as well as walks 💞

I was back to Wallace yesterday for our shared birthday! He is a *little* younger than me 🤣

Wallace loves his reiki but sometimes decides I need a good face/ear clean in the middle of it which he did yesterday but I'm sure it was just birthday kisses 💋

He's some boy! 💞

And the same for this page too! I'm so sorry if you have tried to contact me unsuccessfully. I changed my phone a few months ago and changed it on here thinking it would all synch. I used WhatsApp as messenger for fb business was so unreliable 🙄 Hopefully it's sorted now, I've gone back to messenger for this page as it won't let me change my number for WhatsApp.

So fb for business at it's best. I've changed my phone number on this page but it has kept my old number as the contact button. So very helpful! I apologise if you have tried to contact me this way and had no response, it should be sorted out now.

Now it's asking me to add a call me button! Honestly losing the will with fb just now, nothing but ads and nonsense

On Thursday morning I did the hardest yet kindest reiki I've ever had to do. Wee Poppy was going to the vet with my sister to be helped across Rainbow Bridge, it was her time 🌈

I started her reiki on her way in and continued until I felt it was time to stop. My sister said she was calm and it was very quick but the lovely vet allowed her time with her.

Poppy was 18 and lived her best life with various other cats and ruled the roost, she took no nonsense. She was so receptive to reiki which I did regularly for her so she was calm enough to be brushed when she couldn't reach to groom herself properly and for her pain when her arthritis was flaring up.

Fly high gorgeous girl, you'll be with Sooty, Fudge, Rosie and Fred 💞

It's been a very busy month so social media has been forgotten about! Finally adding photos of some of my animal reiki clients. I also do reiki for humans and reflexology.

February should be slightly quieter but I won't be taking any new appointments for the next couple of weeks while I'm still so busy with my dog walking and regular therapy clients.

My boy had a bad day with his arthritis at new year, I know what caused it so change of plan for next year.

I did a little reiki right away, he was better the next day and I've been doing short sessions here and there for him. I did go back to short lead walks and have been building those up slowly, he was offlead for the first time today and had a blast. He may have been fine but I don't take any chances when it comes to his arthritis, so all being well he'll be back to normal walks in around 10 days.

I did a full 30 minutes reiki for him today with him spread over me during it. I'm sure he was asking me for some! Thankfully very little was required at his elbows but he had a lovely balance 💞
