Breed: Irish Sports Horse Owned since : - November 2023
Discipline: "hopefully dressage" but does love his jumping
Likes: To be constantly putting something in his mouth / kisses, cuddles and chatter from mum / Swede
Dislikes: Midges / getting things wrong / having to work when his friends are being turned out.

Evening field checks with the horses enjoying the last of the evening sun ☀️ Here at Bere Meadows Equestrian we cater for all types of dietary requirements. We have some horses that require a good amount of grass, some that need restrictions and some that need a blend of both. We work with the owners and closely monitor each individual’s needs 🐴🌱

Age: 5 KWPN, half brother to the famous Valegro! Although he also has an Olympic show jumper on his Dams side too!
Discipline: Just starting his ridden life and seeing the world. Dressage will be his main discipline and he already loves to show off his moves in the school.
Likes: Pampering and cuddles and sleeping in his lovely big straw bed at Bere Meadows

What’s not to love about a dapple 🤍🩵 Syd catching up on some 😴 Our horses have been on over night summer turn out for a few weeks now and are all enjoying the extra time out in the field. The winter was long and relentless with rain and mud and while they still went out EVERY day they did come in at lunchtime. Therefore it’s nice to see them finally out in the fields for much longer and not stood in their stables for hours on end. They have the comfort of the shade away from the heat of the day in their stables in our large airy barn and then they go out late afternoon to enjoy the last of the sun and the cooler evenings and nights 🐴🌱☀️

Likes: being a good boy, pole work, and eating! Is a complete unicorn 🦄 but also a yard diva who thinks his needs are the most important 😂

Hates: polos/mints 🤷‍♀️ and all those scary monsters in the woods
Loves: eating and sleeping 🤣

I thought we would add some fun facts about some of the lovely liveries we have residing with us here. We have a whole range of horses from Happy hackers to Dressage horses to allrounders a real mixed bunch. Each one has their own individual needs and we work closely with the owners to ensure that they receive the upmost care and support 🥰

How can it go from this at 7am this morning to what’s currently outside the window ☔️ although thankfully next weeks forecast has no rain forecasted for a good week or so! 🤞The rain this last 6 months has been relentless 😭, we are lucky as we still have grass coverage and our horses have been out in these fields EVERYDAY in all weathers since October. Our fields are well draining and thankfully dry out after a day or two of no rain. Come on Spring!! 🌸🌼🌺🪻
