It seems to be Metacarpal week! This is Brian, who was stomped on by a horse!! ( not a cow like Dolly!!). He was small enough and his fractures less comminuted than Dolly’s so we could place 4 x Toggle pins instead which seem to have done the trick!!

This is DOLLY! The cutest Bull Terrier known to man. Stepped on by a cow, she needed her hand fixing yesterday with a toggle pin and two mini plates. Hopefully she heals well 👍😁

This is TED !! After a road accident, his hip dislocated giving him a lot of pain. Happily we managed to repair this yesterday using the excellent Tightrope system😁😁

This is Jiminy… he had a dislocated hip which would not stsy in, even after his vets managed to replace it…..

This is HAWKEYE..! He had a malformed shoulder joint from birth which was completely non-functional so with the use of a bone graft and an Evolox plate from we did a nice shoulder arthrodesis. Hawkeye will be recovering in a small cage for 8 weeks but should be a lot more comfortable afterward😁😁👍

This is WILSON ! Managed to fracture his femur and lost about 2 inches of bone. We put in a rod and ext fix. He has regrown all his bone kn three weeks and so we took off his fixator yesterday

Poor Loki had a very loose kneecap and almost no groove for it to run in, so we provided a new Patella Groove ( partial knee replacement) 👍😁

This is Jet. A lovely but HUUUUUGE black cat weighing in at 12kg..!!! He managed to break his Left Humerus so needed a double-plating procedure using evolox plates to provide enough support!

Cleo had a nasty slipped disc at L2-L3 and was completely paralyzed…☹️. Happily we could whizz in on a Saturday to decompress the spine at .vets A huge amount of disc material was removed so Cleo has a really good chance of recovery…😁😁
