The upside of autumn suddenly appearing is that it’s now cool enough for this little chap and me to go exploring further afield. Today was the first time I’ve been to Faversham Cemetery and it’s lovely. We even saw a very chill 🐿️ who wasn’t phased by me approaching to take photos! A new favourite spot to walk 🐾

Sarah and I met the newest member of the HDW Crew this morning and he’s absolutely LUSH, just like his Daddy 🐾
He’s a total Andrex puppy, the picture on the packet and if he’d stay this size I’d be very tempted! 🐕

And that’s a wrap! Academic year 2024/2025 completed and I’m on summer holidays until September 😎 Forever grateful to my amazing clients (mostly for only needing me in term time!) and their wonderful dogs. Going to miss this fabulous crew, but looking forward to seeing (most of) them soon and hopefully there’ll be a new addition when we come back…

Despite A LOT of shuffling and cancellations because of the insane temperatures and me taking two days off for funerals 😔, June was HDW’s busiest month ever 🥳

Huge thanks to my clients this week for their flexibility in these extreme temperatures 🥵
Some skipped their lunchtime walks in favour of gentle play (and the necessary 😏) in their shady gardens and a few managed to juggle being at home so didn’t need a lunchtime visit from me. When my car hit 37 degrees yesterday I was glad for both the dogs and me that we cancelled walks this week! Good luck over the weekend and 🤞🏼 temperatures calm down a little bit next week ☀️

MORE PUPPIES!!!!!! 🐶
Having barely recovered from the excitement of 11 Labrador puppies arriving, one of whom will be joining the HDW Crew, today I met 8 Golden Retriever puppies and even got a snuggle with a couple 🥰
If anyone knows of a litter of two week old golden Cockers, please don’t tell me 😂
