🐾The video you’ve all been waiting for! 🐾 Brushing a doodle coat! One of the most crucial parts of owning any dog is coat maintenance, which can be a minefield. This video, courtesy of @lovedogmudlady , describes perfectly how to brush your dogs coat properly to avoid any of those nasty knots. You’ll need two things - 1. Slicker Brush 2. Comb I’ll post a photo below of my recommendations. Both can be purchased easily in a pet store or online, such as Amazon. Slicker brushes come in various lengths. I recommend the long bristle variety as these will get through the coat easier. If you have any more questions please just pop me a message or comment below 🐾 Hope this helps !❤️🐾

Winter is here, which means more muddy dog walks. During this season matts are formed much easier on the coats due to wet legs and the fur getting tangled. Below is a great video tutorial, by the brilliant Verity Hardcastle, on how to brush your dog effectively to make sure there are no knots. A comb is an essential part of this process and is needed as one of your grooming tools to make sure there are no hidden knots. If you have any questions pop me a message and I’ll happily help. 🐾☺️
