Little Liquorice has a very special Christmas wish...and that is to find his forever home with dedicated humans who can offer him lots of love, as well as a feline playmate or two!

He's a sociable, confident little man with bags of character. He loves company and will follow his humans around, calling for attention. He also tries desperately to make friends with the older cat in his foster home, but sadly to no avail.

At approximately 10 weeks old, little Liquorice has sadly been denied the joy of growing up with littermates to play with, and we'd love for him to have this opportunity going forward. He came to us in very poor health and seriously underweight, but against all odds, he has fought all of the obstacles life has thrown at him, and his huge personality has shone through.

Im really sorry to have to post this but I have just picked up a ginger and white cat that was on the side of the road. It was Davies Road just by the side of Jewsons opposite the walk way to Morrisons. I have taken the cat to Vets4Pets to see if it has a microchip

This worried little lady is Amelia.

Amelia has had such a tough time, it's no wonder she has a hard time trusting people.

She is only around a year old and had been living stray; most likely for her whole young life.

Inevitably she became pregnant, and then pregnant again, but her not yet fully adult body couldn't cope, and she was handed in to a vet after being found suffering with paralysis in her back legs.

This is the toll that repeated pregnancies, in cats that are still kittens themselves, will take. This poor little girl couldn't walk, she was utterly bewildered by what had happened to her and totally terrified of everything and everyone as a consequence.

We have taken her in and given her time and space to heal, and she is now regaining her mobility to a point that we feel confident she can go on to live a full and normal life-spayed of course, so she no longer has to endure the trauma of giving birth repeatedly.

Without our intervention Amelia would most certainly have died. We have given her her life back and now our next job is to find her the perfect home.

No more will this girl live stray; she deserves the love and security of a real home with people who understand her.

We think, due to her nervousness (though we must stress that she is not aggressive, she doesn't lash out, she is just terrified so will hiss but it goes no further) she will be best in an adult-only home.

Another cat may help her gain confidence, though we think a dog may prove too much for her.

Looking for her forever home 💞💞

Noo Noo is still desperately seeking her fur-ever home.

She is a friendly, chatty girl who always sits at the front of her pen, waiting to say hi (and to remind you not to forget her dinner - she loves her food, does Noo Noo!).

She has been in our care for over 100 days now, as when she first came into the Centre she was pregnant. At 10 years old, this was far from her first pregnancy...in fact we suspect this girl has spent most of her life having babies.

Now she is spayed, she finally has the chance to just enjoy being a cat, without constantly having to raise kittens. She would love a home where she's the only feline ideally; she has previously lived with and tolerated a dog so with the correct introductions, this should be possible again. She has shown herself to be quite friendly with older children too (very young children could be a bit much for her).

She's quite underweight, due to having had so many litters over the years, and she really does deserve some TLC! If you could offer her this, please visit our website and complete a Perfect Match form.

Little ozzy looking for new forever home ❤️

This little guy is called Ozzy, and he's not had the best of times 😔. He was rescued from extremely poor and cramped conditions, locked in a tiny hutch.

He's a shy guy who really needs a loving home with a lady guinea or two.

At the moment he does hide away quite a lot, but he is starting to gain confidence and he loves to run around so he'll need a home with lots of space to do this (we recommend a minimum of 2m x 2m).

Ozzy is thought to be between 2-4 years and he has now been neutered, so he is ready to find some lady friends with whom he can start enjoying life. Guinea pigs are hugely social animals, so he has been missing out on so much.

Please don’t feed other peoples cats as much as they are cute and friendly it causes problems at home like not coming home for days and not eating their dinners cats with dietary needs like Tilly... TILLY in her new collar she’s not happy lol x

Adam 💙😻

Poor Adam can't understand why no one has yet offered him a home. 😔

He's a nervous boy (he found the camera a little daunting-hence his worried expression🥺), and yet he is also super-affectionate and just wants to be loved.

We believe somebody once loved this boy, sadly he wasn't chipped so we have been unable to find out who his person was. Adam is clearly desperate to find that kind of love again and he is always excited to receive visitors to his pen (other than when accompanied by a scary camera 📸 😱!!).

This boy loves his food and head rubs and we also feel that once he settles, he'll also appreciate a comfy lap!

It is two months today since Todd came into our care and he's still struggling to find his forever home. 😔

Despite being super handsome, Todd is unfortunately a shy boy who can be a bit grumpy and hissy so he keeps getting overlooked. 😢

However we have recently introduced him to a young female kitty and we have definitely seen an improvement in his demeanour. Now he no longer hides away in his bed, instead he sits up on his shelf watching the world go by and when his "girlfriend" pays a visit he rubs noses with her, Eskimo style! 💕

We are therefore now reconsidering Todd's bio, as we initially had him down as being an only pet-now we believe he would thrive, given the right introductions of course, with a young female kitty with whom he could share his life and his Lick-e-Lix!

If you have a young lady cat who would enjoy the company of a handsome, slightly complicated and somewhat misunderstood guy, then please do get in touch. Deep down our Todd is a lover, not a fighter, he just needs a girl who can show him that humans aren't all bad!
