Week 2 of new job and I fell down stairs at work. Bad sprain and broken toe, hobbling around and still driving, working etc. 6 days later, no better and finally went to A&E. Toe not broken but ankle badly broken! 🤦🏻‍♀️ At least I can work from home. 🩼🩼

Today is set to be one of the hottest days of the year in England but horses will still be forced to race.
Todays races in England and their predicted temperatures :-
Haydock Park - 26°
Newbury - 29°
Newmarket - 29°
Nottingham - 28°
Pontefract - 27°
Imagine being forced to run in direct sunlight in the hottest part of the day, with saddles, lead weights, jockeys bouncing on your spine and whipping you, metal bits, tongue ties, hoods, blinkers, sheepskin bands, earplugs, blindfolds and lipchains all legally allowed on racecourses in the UK, making the horses discomfort even worse. Horses are very susceptible to heat stress, but the industry don't care. People are advised not to ride their horses in hot weather, but it's ok for this industry to RACE them.

I've posted something similar before but doing it again as I still see so many dogs being given these as treats! There are so many better and healthier alternatives that don't cost the earth. The ingredients are not worth risking, and they don't help your dogs teeth as the dogs go through them so quickly that it's not enough to help with plaque removal and gum health!
