Merry Christmas to all. I didn't dress Loki as Rudolph this year (because she struggles enough with co-ordination, without antlers on her head), so she acted as Rudolph instead. We couldn't get her to stand in the right place, so Lee managed to get one good picture of her (unfortunately, I was talking and pulling the worst face at the time ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ™ˆ). Still looking mighty fine for a little girl who is going to turn 15 in a few weeks ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ–ค.

Last walk of the year done, gifts given out to all my dogs and their people. Came home to my husband who had prepared a baked camembert and sour dough bread. It is officially Christmas ๐ŸŽ„. Massive thank you to all my customers for supporting my business over the years. There would be no Walshie's Walkies without you all. I look forward to loving and fussing your dogs in the new year. See you on 2nd January 2025 ๐Ÿ˜˜

Looks like my little angel face has found a new home. (Not with these two spans, we just walked together last week and she became a puppy again). Maya visited a couple today who loved her and she is going to go live with them on Sunday. Definitely going to miss the little girl, but so happy she will have a new home in time for Christmas ๐Ÿค๐Ÿงก

I may have had five dogs this morning, but it was all about Little T today (and a little bit of K and L chasing each other, obviously). It's been too long since I have seen my diddiest of dudes. His little face turned my frown upside down today ๐Ÿ–ค

My newest little buddy - Ted. (My 5th Ted over the years). A friend's Mum needs help for a few weeks, so Ted and I had our first play date today, after meeting a couple of weeks ago. He doesn't show his face very often. Nose to the ground most of the time.

***Looking for a new home***
I am currently fostering this sweet little angel while she looks for a new home. I have been working with Maya (pronounced My-ah) for about 2 years. Her owner has had to move into a care home and can't take Maya with her. I am not really sure what breed she is, I believe she was rescued from abroad. (I have asked the owner's son for more details). She is about 10 years old. She is great with other dogs, cats and even a hedgehog that I helped one day. She is so loving and will bond with the right person very quickly. I left her with my Mum yesterday while I had physio. She crashed out with Mum and was lapping up the belly rubs. She would be suited to a quiet house with no kids and somebody who is home a lot. She may be able to live with another dog, if they were calm and gentle. She is happy here with my elderly border collie. We have just had our first night together and she slept downstairs, on her own with no fuss. Any potential adopter must be willing to undergo a home check. Please contact me for more information. We are in Bristol, please share.

I feel bad that my bigger dogs dominate the photos most of the time with their running and chasing. Today was mostly about the smaller, but equally adorable dogs.

4th and last walk of the day. Met a friend's Mum's dog. I will be walking him for a few weeks while his Mum recovers from surgery. Just a meet and greet today. Quick spin. Let him have a sniff about in my car, practised putting an extra lead on and off while in the car, to simulate the doggy harness seat belt I will use. (He is is scared of being touched, so softly gently building trust).
