✨🍉5 Tips To Keep Your Dog Safe In Summer🍉✨

1. Always have fresh cool water readily available for your dog.

2. Make sure they have a cool shady spot where they can rest out of the sun.

3. On hot days walk your dog when it is cooler such as early morning or late evening, or just skip the walk altogether and provide enrichment indoors.
*Nearly 3 quarters of heatstroke cases develop while playing or exercising*

4. Keep on top of brushing! This one is very important if your dog becomes matted the matts trap heat close to the body and prevent airflow from getting through to the skin, imagine wearing a thick woolly jumper on a hot summers day, this is essentially what matting is for your dog. If you are worried that your dog is matted or are struggling with coat upkeep at home please contact your groomer for help and advice.

5. Pawdicures! Unlike humans dogs have very limited availability to sweat, they only sweat from their paws, keep your pets fur clean and trimmed around the pawpaws to prevent matting and help keep them cool, again please contact your groomer with help and advice for this.

Dugs been in today for his shed safely mud treatment 🍃🐾
The hair that comes off with this treatment is crazy!
There is also a soothing skin mud treatment available to add to your dogs groom which helps relieve skin that is irritated from allergies etc, I don’t know about you or your dogs but hay-fever is kicking my arse this year 🤧
