Here’s my Wednesday 💗. Ronnie photobombing my photo of bluebells. Then seeing Miss Margo, she’s been a bit poorly so I’ve not seen her for a while but she was on good form today, even doing some zoomies. Then checking in on Lottie and Libby; I think Libby likes having her photo taken 😘

It felt like Spring had finally arrived and I think Cora thought so too 💗.

For anyone who doesn’t know me, I’m a mature lady who only walks one dog at a time, or two or three if they are from the same family. I walk dogs from their door, so no putting them into cages in the back or cars or van and no taking them in packs. I interact with the dogs most of the time I’m out with them; I chat away, I sometimes sing to them 🤣 and I’ve two dogs who like me to speak to them in a Scottish accent! There’s plenty of ball throwing for those who like it too. I also offer pet sitting. I really like and care for the dogs I walk 💗.

Three new customers; on the left the lovely Miss Penny, who in dog years is the same age as me 😂 and the two gorgeous German Shepherds are Lottie and Libby who I’m dog sitting for this weekend and are being very good girls 🥰

Dog sitting this weekend for these two lovelies, Archie & Florie. I’ve cycled this path hundreds of times but so nice to walk it and have the time to look at things properly and with our early start this morning I heard a woodpecker too.

A horrible rainy day today, but Kiwi & Spud didn’t mind in their cosy jackets 💜 and to be honest I didn’t mind too much, I spotted a beautiful red squirrel, a wren, a Robin, some frisky blackbirds and the first bluebells of the year; spring is here (someone needs to tell the weather! ☔️)

I’ve had the pleasure of sitting for these two gorgeous girls this week, Poppet the Yorkshire terrier and Sally an 18 year old miniature schnauzer; lots of love and cuddles with them and their cat sister ❤️

The second walk of my day was with Mr Ronnie; we went to Castle Park but there was loads of rubbish in the park, so I picked up a plastic bread bag that was blowing around and filled it with litter six times (mainly McDonalds stuff 🤬) . Ronnie was content being outside and we were out longer than usual and there was still lots of ball throwing which is his favourite ✔️

What an interesting day of dog walking today; first walk with the lovely Miss Cora took me somewhere I’d never been before, Marron Leys Woodland. We’d only just entered the woods when a big darkly coloured deer ran across our path. It is a lovely place to walk; I saw some fungi that I’ve seen before but am reliably informed is called Scarlet Elf Cup - how cute is that? Spring is nearly here the snowdrops and catkins are out - yeah 👏🏻

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know that in the New Year I will have space for another dog to walk 🐾.

I only walk one dog at a time (unless dogs are from the same household), so your pet gets one-to-one love and attention. I walk dogs from their home, so NO pushing them into cages in vans with other dogs.

I stay local (approximately 5 miles from Frizington), currently I have dogs in Rowrah, Moresby & Whitehaven.

I also can provide a dog-sitting service (or cats), staying in your home while you are away, taking good care of your pet and home. References are also available.

On my questionnaire for new clients I ask, amongst other things if I can put photos of their dogs on social media and also can their dogs go in the water. Luckily for us, this lovely little lady’s Mum said yes 💕
