Meet Reggie…

Today whilst on my Cat sit round I had the pleasure of meeting this handsome boy…

When I arrived he greeted me with loads of purrs & headbutts..an absolute charmer ..

He was interested in what was for tea .. made sure I accepted a card & gift from my clients …

How heartwarming you might say.. it was ….Reggie making me feel very welcome in his neighbours house 😂

I understand he is a regular visitor and his owners know he socialises . The resident cats are quite happy with his visits.

Reggie you are an absolute sweetheart and made my day .. ❤️

Thank you all our lovely clients for a busy and eventful year at The Cats Maid.

Again this year we have decided not to send Christmas Cards.

But my fluff family must come first. They are a happy contented group and I really cannot risk upsetting that purrfect balance.

At time we must put our fluffs first and not follow our hearts …

But you would make me very happy if you could give this beautiful boy a home with loads of love and cuddles he so richly deserves..

As a Cat sitter .. I take my business and the homes of my clients seriously…

I carry insurance and part of that insurance requires that I ensure that I am the only person with access to a clients home during the period I am Cat Sitting.

The insurance provides both me and my client with a level of protection .. So just imagine how I feel when a strange woman chases me up the drive and tells me I forgot to turn the TV off .. would add was not on loud she had a key to the house.

I would add I sometimes ask Google or Alexa to play cat calming music .. I also put a TV on on timer for a couple of hours .. failing that I take a radio and leave that on.. it all helps a cat to feel secure and used to house noises .

I no longer provide a cat manicure service. I do help or do some of my Cat Sit Clients.

Also be very careful who you ask to do the job. The photo is a screen shot of a post by a friend who yesterday engaged the services of a “professional” groomer ..

This is a good video on Cat Claw trimming .. but I would advise ….if you or the cat are unsure .. get your vet to do the job .. might cost a little but will save you a fortune in stress and worry.

Ok ….you take some yoghurt treats to help a cat with his meds … however… he decides it not for him. He is big brave boy and takes his meds like a true hero….

His brother however says … oh can’t let that treat go to waste …
