Unfortunately we have had a seriously injured cat handed into the practice. We suspect he had been hit by a car and despite our best efforts he passed away.

He was all black, entire male, not microchipped, estimated age 1-2 years old. Found in Frodsham.

Today our wonderful receptionist Abbi moves onto pastures new to embark on her nursing journey.
Abbi has been with the practice for 2 years and built a strong relationship with her collegues and clients.

Please take care in the soaring temperatures. If you have a brachycephalic breed (pug, french bulldog, boxer, staffordshire bull terrier, british bulldog, etc), large flatter-faced breeds and dogs with underlying conditions such as heart disease, obesity or breathing problems. We advise to book appointments for these dogs only if absolutely necessary and try to aim for cooler times of the day such as early morning or later in the afternoon.

We have had a black neutered male cat brought into the practice from the Beechwood, Runcorn area. We are unsure of his age but he seems older based on his dental health. He is not microchipped. If you believe he might be yours, please get in touch. 01928733228

Hello everybody.

We would like to inform everyone that due to ongoing staffing issues, that are affecting the veterinary industry as a whole, we are going to have to make some changes to our opening hours.

From Saturday, 21st of January, our new working hours for a Saturday will be 9am to 1pm and appointments will be on an emergency/need to be seen basis. This means that no routine appointments, like vaccinations will be able to be booked for a Saturday.

Also from Monday, 23rd of January, our opening time will be half an hour later, starting at 8:30am rather than 8am. Our closing time will remain at 7pm.

Our out of hours provider will remain the same, MiNight Vet in Chester, which you can reach on 01244 853823.

We understand that this might cause inconvenience to some of you, but please be aware we are hoping these are temporary measures until we can get staff numbers back up and the decision wasn't taken lightly but after much consideration. Thank you for your understanding and support.

3 January onwards : Normal opening times
