Meet two Ashcroft success stories! Here we have Latchford and Maggie, two shugs (shih tzu x pugs), who were in for their second vaccines with one of our nurses Keshia, and they were absolute little angels of course.

We first met these two when they were born here at the practice a couple of months ago and it was so lovely to see them back here doing so well! And so big!

Another day another be careful out there post! As yesterdays post advised please only make necessary journeys and if you are able to rearrange for a day when it is safer for you to get to the practice please call us on 01928 733228.

Please take extra care in our car park too as it is extra slippy today! The brave staff that rallied and made it into the practice today have also made some beautiful art for all to enjoy in the car park too. Some healthy competition for Castle Park Arts centre we feel.

*CAUTION* Please stay safe in the snow and ice today, donā€™t make unnecessary journeys, and prioritise your safety.

If you are booked in for routine appointments like vaccines, 6 month health checks etc please consider if you can rearrange for a day where you can travel in safer conditions.

If you are coming down for an appointment please allow extra time for your travel, and please bear with us as with the disruptions we will likely be running behind schedule as people arrive late for work and appointments.

Above everything stay safe out there and enjoy the snow!!

Meet lovely Maisie who thoroughly enjoyed her stay as a VIP at Ashcroft last week.

She is our vet Nataschaā€™s dog and was in for a very belated spay, but had a bit of a whirlwind of a time with usā€¦.

Our vet Maisie (a very confusing amount of Maisies here) was doing the routine procedure when she found a large lump on Maisieā€™s spleen - we opted to remove this and have it tested as a precaution, so the poor Maisies were in together for a few hours more than expected!

She recovered amazingly well and is back to her normal self thanks to the loving caring team here at Ashcroft. Her results have come through and the lump was completely benign, so she has the all clear!!

Itā€™s never too late to spay your pets or put them through procedures that are going to improve their life. If we hadnā€™t of spayed her the lump could have proved fatal, but thanks to Ashcroft she will live her happy normal long life just a little bit lighter than before!

We love you Mais!

Here is Bella another one of our star patients who we always love to see! She was in to get the all clear for her ears and sheā€™s feeling much better than she was!

Mainly because she doesnā€™t have to come back to us for a whileā€¦. but we will take some of the credit for thatā€¦.

Call us on 01928733228 if you have any worries you want checking over, or if you just want a bit of an MOT for your pets!

Take a leaf out of Tillyā€™s book and get your flea and worm treatment for the winter! Turning the heating on can trigger the emergence of any dormant fleas from your home, so making sure your pets are covered is the best way to minimise ill effects.

Tilly was such an angel when in for her vaccines and even carried her own flea and worm meds home to free up her owners hands. She will be booking herself in for vaccines before we know it! such a good girl!!
