Celebrating Max's 6th birthday 🎂 today with delicious doggy carrot cake made by Max's family who generously sent him in with enough for all our pooches.
Max is a splendid hound, great friends with everyone, he loves to play and paddle in pools but his favourite activity is treat treasure hunts.

Yesterday we realised the butterflies and honey bees that live in hives on the farm where desperately seeking water and where risking drowning in the dog's pools.
Today we've set up a hydration pool for them, in a shallow plant tray with pebbles so they can safely drink water and be away from dog's and humans.
If you can pop a tray of water out for the wildlife they will really appreciate it in this weather.

Its hard to choose a photo from the hundreds we take but here's one we love.
This is Harry, he's a regular at daycare but doesn't have set days to come in, his mum books him in when needed and if we have space that day.
We love this picture because it shows him having the best time and keeping cool.
It has taken him a little while to get used to the paddling pools, like many dogs he was nervous at 1st, but now he spontaneously jumps in on his own and what fun he has!
