🎉 Racing Staff Awareness Week 🎉
Thank you to the TBA for our party pack and contribution to celebrate Staff Awareness week in the racing and breeding industry 🤩
It was much appreciated and a perfect excuse for a staff social to say thank you to our wonderful staff here at Fairfield Stud 😊 🙌🏼

This is Misty, Misty has enjoyed a nice groom this morning 🥰 However, she did NOT appreciate the pigeon who decided to fly at the window she was stood at, resulting in a broken headcollar 🙈

Misty is boarding with us whilst she is being scanned for AI by Thornton Wright Vets who are but a stroll around the stable block.

This makes the whole process super easy for Misty’s owner because…
❌There’s no vet call out fee ❌
😄 There’s no trying to arrange the perfect time to scan your mare as we will do all that 😄
📦 We will arrange delivery of the semen to arrive at the optimum time 📦
🐴 We will keep you updated with what’s happening, and care for your horse as if she were our own and even find new headcollars if we need to! 🙈 ♥️

🐴 How can we help?! 🐴

Due to a few of our youngstock livery leaving us to start their ridden careers, we have a small number of grass livery spaces available which will be allocated on a first come first served basis 😊

All types of horse can be accommodated and this includes 2025 weanlings. We will always group according to their age and size. We understand one size does not fit all, and your horse comes first.

We find that all horses arriving at Fairfield Stud instantly settle into our relaxed environment. We also have the wonderful Thornton Wright Equine vets practice on site which is extremely advantageous! 🙌🏼

If you’re interested to know more, please get in touch and we’d love to have you over for a coffee and a tour (other drinks are available)

Grand finale to our foaling season here at Fairfield Stud. Foal number 8 safely arrived this morning, 2 weeks early, in the morning sunshine ☀️❤️ A very friendly c**t belonging to . Congratulations ☺️

Yard favourite Blissful Song (aka Bella) successfully in foal to Soldier’s Call from ready to head home ☺️. We’ll miss you Bella ♥️ See you in February for foaling!! 🤩🙌🏼

Safe arrival of foal number 7!! And our last TB foal this year (unless anyone needs last minute foaling livery!) A very sweet filly foal by El Caballo out of Alkawarah and we think she’s gorgeous! 😍☺️

Happy to foal number 6!! A stunning c**t by Sergei Prokofiev 🤩 out of our own mare Deluxe Music. He’s a beautiful chocolate colour and his stable name is Freddy 😍. Exciting times ahead!

One of our favourites ‘Annie’ is due her El Caballo foal any day now! She LOVES being groomed and will wicker to you when you’re grooming her 😍. She’ll do her best to keep you with her all day after a good scratch, but you can’t move that quick when so large 💞🙈

❓Did you know that we have onsite vets and have Stud packages available for mares for natural cover or AI? 🐴. Your mare can then either go home and come back to us for foaling or can board with us for her full pregnancy 😊
Friday saw us take Bella for a walk in to see Bobby’s Kitten at which we hope was a success 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Time will tell!

Never underestimate how hard it is to take photos of very smoochy (well it is Valentines Day) and inquisitive youngsters!! 🙈
Rocky and Glitterati pictured flaunting the on trend ‘Winter Woolies’ style are enjoying life together after weaning which couldn’t have gone any better for both mares and foals ☺️. They have an open double stable full of straw that they can go in and out of as they please which is perfect for this time of their life! Movement, fresh air, lots of hay and a big comfy bed when you need it, some of the essential ingredients for a great start in life we recon 🥰♥️
